The Priory is one of the smaller art galleries to grace Broadway’s High Street. Its paintings are predominantly still lives and nudes. What caught my eye were some quirky sculptures of figures with animal or bird heads. I enjoyed the bewigged and gowned advocate with an owl’s head and pince-nez.

Nice little gallery but not much of interest for us. For a village of Broadway's size it has more galleries than might be expected. Apparently lots of tourists stop off here. Always worth a look in case one spots a sleeper.

OK for a few minutes. Informal space but on our day seemed to contain mostly soft cantered sentimental images.

This a gem of a place in the finest town in the Cotswolds. A small gallery with carefully chosen and well displayed works, by artists who deserve the title 'Artist'
