A really enjoyable tour, getting to see all the best parts of the build process and a very knowledgable and entertaining guide - highly recommended for any car fan!

Technically this was the best tour I have ever been on because we each had an earpiece that delivered the tourguide's words clear as a bell so you could hear perfectly wherever you were standing, however hard of hearing you are, even if someone else was talking nearby.
The tour was unhurried, packed with information, plenty of chance to ask questions and a comprehensive array of vehicles to admire and photograph.
There was nothing out of bounds, (well not the paint shop obviously) and no question went unanswered.
The handbuilt quality of the vehicles is amazing, some individual employees are responsible for the majority of assembly of an individual car, what superb training they must get and what pride they can take in their work.
Also impressed that the company runs an excellent work experience and particularly to be praised a proper apprenticeship scheme. If only more companies did this.
So very glad we did this tour.

Excellent!
A beautiful visitors centre.
Great tour with a very knowlegable guide, visiting all areas of the factory, we went on a Saturday, so nobody was working inside the assembley shops. This however did mean we could look around more.
Visiting on a working day would have the advantage that you could see the production happening. We will go back to see this too :0)
Everyone was friendly and loved the cars, even the cafe and shop were good quality.

My partner and I visited for a factory tour, from the very start everything is fantastic. John our guide was top class, he was extremely knowledgeable along with being witty and funny. What you get too see on the tour is simply amazing, over 100 years of craftsmanship on display. Extremely highly recommended if you get the chance to visit.

Really enjoyed the factory tour this week. Interesting, friendly and informative guide (Les) It's wonderful to see how these cars are still hand built in Britain after more than 110 years! So many of the people working there have been employed by Morgan for generations, which is also great to see these days.

Hard to say because the revelations kept coming. The driving experience was superb and my mentor, Colin, could not have been more relaxed, easing this 74 yr old into an extremely powerful, manual icon of a car when I usually drive something sedate and automatic. He was far too polite to seem bored. My only regret was the beauty of the day, weather and countryside….I was too preoccupied to look at the view!
The factory tour was steady, comprehensive and enormously informative. Brian’s pace was perfect and whatever I THOUGHT I knew about the Morgan Motor Company of today was rewritten in spades. His relaxed humour and the dedication, pride, skill and commitment of the workforce we met completed the day.
Many thanks to Emily/s for the necessary rearrangement of our visit.
The factory tour was steady, comprehensive and enormously informative. Brian’s pace was perfect and whatever I THOUGHT I knew about the Morgan Motor Company of today was rewritten in spades. An excellent tour around the factory, throughly enjoyable and informative even if you are not a car fan. I also had an experience drive in the firm's Super 3 model, which was an absolute blast. Fantastic.

Purchased a tour of the Morgan Car Works for my partner and I went along to keep him company, not expecting I would enjoy it!!!! How wrong was I. Really enjoyable experience to see learn about the history of the Morgan care, seeing how these cars are made and the quality of work the crafts people put into making them. Our Tour Guide was excellent and his passion for the manufacture of the Morgan car was infectious. Would highly recommend. The on site cafe looked also very inviting, but we did not have the time to stop for a drink & something to eat.

I am thinking of bringing my 5 year old son. Is this experience generally suitable for a child of that age?
The tour lasts for around two hours and involves quite a bit of walking between production buildings, listening to the guide via the headsets provided for this purpose (so everyone in the group [usually 10 in number] can hear what's being said at the same time) and watching craftspeople working on their part of the build process. I'd therefore suggest that a 5-year-old might well not sustain interest.
Whilst we weren't looking for them, we didn't see any children's recreation areas whilst on our tour.
To make sure either way though, you may wish to ask the question of the Morgan Car Company direct as they may have health and safety rules in place to cover this eventuality. I've found their admin team to be very helpful and responsive to e-mails etc.

Hi, how many vehicles are in Morgan's fleet, available for a 3 hour drive. Just wondering if I need to select the car at booking stage or whether I can choose on the day. Also what's the required lead in time for booking?

Thank you for your enquiry.
You are able to choose from a plus 4 or 3 wheeler when taking the 3 hour hire. The 3 hour Morgan sports car hire is available until 31st March. Please contact our main reception on 01684 573104 to book your experience.
We re open on 2nd January at 8.30am.

Hello, the Morgan Easter one week factory shutdown is from Monday 2nd April, the Morgan factory will be closed for this one week only. We are open on Good Friday when guided tours will be available. I hope that this helps.
