A small beer bar with around 6 ales on tap (plus loads in the fridge). Service could have been better as I wanted to sit outside after some rain and had to wipe the chair dry having been given a cloth to do this by the barman. Didn't think this was too good service.

Not a great range of craft beer on tap but enough to keep most people interested. There are also 3 fridges with other beers that add to the mix so well worth visiting.

Visited Hoplords a few times now. A stunning range of craft beers in several fridges that can be drank on site or as a takeaway. Also a small selection of craft beers on draught.
A small but friendly craft beer ale tap room with some indoor and outdoor seating. Extremely knowledgable staff who know their stuff.
Sure to find a craft beer you will like. Recommended. Right in the middle of the city centre. About a 5 min walk from Foregate St railway station and bus station just off the High St (walk towards the Cathedral).

Friendly staff and a pretty good selection of bottled beer as well as beer on tap, if I lived locally then I would definitely stop by more.

What a funky stylish place! It only sells beers and soft drinks but wow what a fab choice! There are lots of unusual and foreign beers to try and they offer a 10% discount on beers to take home. I tried a Mango and Citroen sour and it was yummy.

Craft beer is on the up....there's no doubt about it. And while those who want craft beer are starved of decent bottle shops, they'll have to pay a little extra. Hop Lords is a very good bottle shop with some great stuff in the fridges and some excellent selections on tap. The problem for customers is the lack of competition in Worcester. While Hop Lord's hold a relative monopoly they'll continue to charge slightly above the average. Anyone expecting 3 for £6 deals like they get in Tesco, is going to be seriously disappointed. But those who appreciate great craft beer and understand it's going to cost quite a lot more will pay the slightly inflated prices....for now.

In my defence I only popped in on a Saturday daytime to pick up a few bottles or cans of something a little different as a birthday gift.
I was not aware that is is customary to partake of an Ale from the taps whilst perusing the chillers, having perused the chillers, and having purchased from the chillers.
So, my selection from the taps were;
Track Outlier American IPA (7%)
Cloudwater Brew Indulgently Crisp Experience (6.5%)
Deya Steady Rolling Man AMerican IPA (5.2%)
All were excellent but my favourite was the Track Outlier.
In fairness this was not somewhere that I could afford to visit regularly so it is a good job that I do not live in Worcester else there could be real problems.
Situated amongst normal retail shops right in the middle of Worcester it has to be a place for women to drop their husbands off for safe-keeping (or not given the ABV's) and somewhere for the parties that can afford to place quality over cost.

Dropped in around 6pm, just to
See what it was like.
Full of friends of owner I think, with kids running around. Don’t know about you, but if I wanted to drink with peoples Kids running amok. Then I would go to a Toby Inn.
When we asked about the German beers , as we have all served in Germany. We couldn’t believe the prices one was over £20. Yes for a bottle of beer.
Each to their own I suppose but not a destination for me. I Understand it’s a niche market but too pretentious for me.
See what it was like.

Came here having spent the afternoon in the Firefly which I believe is ‘Hop Lords’ sister pub.
The pub is in a very central location but is quite compact. There’s a great range of International beers available but sadly they did not seem to have any German or Czech Pilsners and it was also a bit of a shame that the guy behind the bar wasn’t a bit more knowledgeable about the beers that were available.
If you go upstairs there is further seating and an area selling Pizza.
If you love your beer I would certainly recommend Hop Lords, I will certainly go back next time I’m in Worcester and may well try the Pizza next time.

Found this place quite by accident which only opened around 3 months ago. They have 8 beers on tap plus 150 (?) in bottles / cans in 4 fridges to the front & right of the bar. take away prices are 10% off the marked ones.
Easily the best range of beers in Worcester and very well curated. But beware .. no coffee, no soft drinks, no mass-produced lager..just first class craft ales.
Opening hours are noon to 20.00 (Tuesday to Thursdays) & noon to 22.00 (Fridays & Saturdays).
