This is an absolute gem, a beautiful building with a fascinating history. The volunteers are excellent, knowledgeably answering any questions and very welcoming to visitors. It is a lovely place to visit for all ages and is free which is a surprise! The pretty cafe is an added bonus, and can be visited without going around the museum.

Not a lot to say. A small museum which covers the history of the building over many hundreds of years. It is interesting if you want to learn more about the local history (and I mean mainly of the house and the street it's on) but is a little lacking for wider context (national or even regional history.) But if you want to know about the street and what happened there, then it is a brilliant little museum. There is usually a member of staff at the door and I would recommend waiting if there isn't as I went straight in and ended up going the wrong way round, only to be politely pushed towards retreading my steps once I reached the end/start.

Well worth a quick stop, lots to see inside a very historic building. Good cafe too which offers well priced drinks and simple food choices

A good little free museum. The kids did a trail that was £1 or so which meant we stayed longer than if we were just walking around. The staff seem very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Would certainly go again.

We found the Tudor Museum by chance whilst awaiting our guided tour of the nearby NT property, Greyfriards
This museum is run by the Worcester Heritage Trust and the information given together with the displays , provide a truly excellent history of the building, that medieval area of Worcester and of the Worcester woollen cloth trade. There is a lot to read and learn and to do justice to everything it’s worth allowing at least an hour.
Entrance is free, but donations are welcome.

Lovely time spent this morning wandering around Tudor House Museum. Have not been here for a while and it was just as fascinating as ever. A real gem in the City. Stopped off afterwards for a coffee and slice of toast in their tea room. Lovely to have a drink served in a bone china cup. All volunteers so friendly and helpful.

A lovely hour spent speaking to volunteers and looking at the displays. It is free although we did make a donation as the volunteers are so enthusiastic about the preservation of the building and artefacts, The restored Tudor ceiling is a must see.

This museum is absolutely incredible!
You must visit, there is actually quite a lot to see; knowledgeable and very welcoming stewards; very good Covid security; and LOTS of history!
If you have balance problems, you may find some of the upstairs rooms a little hard to cope with because the floors are VERY wonky...but with support, you'll be fine!
We're so pleased we visited, it was a very interesting experience.

It is free to enter and you can make a donation if you wish (we did). Not a lot to see but it passes half an hour or so if you are looking to kill time or dodge the weather.

A lovely hidden garden in the middle of the city, a nice café, and interesting history. The timber building was erected around 1520, although foundation stones in the cellar date from the early Medieval period

Hi, how do I get there from Worcester foregate Street station on foot?

Hello Karen
At the Foregate Street station, turn left and walk along the Foregate for approximately 200 yards. Turn left down St Swithin's Street and then right at the corner of the Cornmarket (next to the rather fancy barbers!). Follow New Street along until it becomes Friar Street. Keep going straight and Tudor House is on the right hand side, half way down. It'll take about 10 minutes to reach us.
Hope to see you soon!
