The Berkeley has recently re-opened which is lovely to see. We popped in initially for a quick drink, we looked at the menu to see what was on offer. The menu is a good one and all very reasonably priced. We booked a table for Saturday evening and it was good to see other diners enjoying their evening. Great menu offering popular starters and mains. Food came well presented and piping hot. The rack of ribs was huge (and even came with a finger bowl and plenty of serviettes!) chicken and mushroom pie (homemade) was delicious, as was the chilli and rice. Puddings were good and very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and keen to make our meal a success, nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of parking. Will definitely visit again soon! Can highly recommend!

Well the food was good, but the staff were miserable and very rude. If your idea of a party night is sitting in the lounge area sipping sherry, then this is the place for you! Otherwise, I'd give it a miss!

We ate Sunday lunch here and the food was lovely. We were disappointed however, with the separate serving of vegetables (just one small cereal sized bowl) for three people. The prices are a little overpriced as the portions are not huge, but the food was perfectly cooked and the staff very helpful and friendly. Would also like to point out that serving a dessert with pouring cream on a flat piece of slate may look very attractive but is not very practical at all. That said, as with the main, the desserts were absolutely delicious.

Well, we popped in for breakfast the other morning and had no idea what to expect. First glance of the breakfast menu was not hopeful, it seemed limited and expensive but the manager was friendly and the restaurant had a pleasant decor. We ordered breakfast and what we received could only be described as a masterpiece. It was piping hot, beautifully presented and was clearly made using the best ingredients possible. The breakfast was piled nearly and carefully on top of a piece of toast and initially, you may think there is not a lot but actually, it is deceptive. It looked and tasted amazing. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for and this was well worth the money. Highly recommended.

Dropped in with my wife while cycling, hoping for a pint and lunch. The ping (Wye Valley HPA) was very good and so we were hopeful about the food.
My wife ordered the roast pork but found the meat very overdone and dry. I had the roast beef and it was I think a little better than the pork but still overdone (this may be a personal opinion but beef needs a hint of pink in the middle and have some moistness to the texture)..
The "roast" potatoes were a great disappointment. A cardinal sin seemed to have been committed, the potatoes appearing to have NOT been cooked with the meat but cooked separately, probably in oil, not meat fat. They were underdone and unappetising with little flavour.
A roast dinner is a great English invention but this was a very poor example.

Called in here for the first time today having moved to the area 3 years ago. We had the most fantastic lunch. Everything was freshly prepared (so don't expect fast food) with top quality ingredients. One of our group had the cod - a beatuiful, well prepared piece of fish with big flakes and excellent flavour. Two of us had the fish cakes which came with a delicious homemade tartare sauce. We had handcut chips as a side dish - lovely. Even the children's menu was way above average and my niece enjoyed the quality ice cream pudding (not cheap ice cream - vanilla pods and strawberry pieces served with marshallows and choc chips).The prices can seem on the high side for pub food but this is not your typical pub - the food is far far better than average. We ate in the newly refurbished front garden and the staff were attentive and pleasant. We will certainly be returning. Keep up the good work. What a find! Quality, quality quality.

Happened across this pub while on a recent road trip. Looking for a lunch stop and The Berkeley looked very inviting.
Varied menu and excellent quality food.
Pleasant helpful bar lady serving who tried very hard, and succeeded, in making our stop very restful.
Not the cheapest but good value for the quality of food and service.
Sadly I live a long way from Worcester so won't be a regular customer but have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
