We decided to visit Worcester on an impulse and take a guided tour; what a fantastic experience.. Our guide on the day, Sandy, made the tour memorable. She is indeed a fantastic host of this incredibly historic city, bringing it alive with her enthusiasm and warmth. Her knowledge of Worcester and its past is very good and relevant. We learned many facts and shared history discussions. Thank you to all involved in providing such service and thank you to Sandy for making our visit to Worcester so worthwhile. Our guide Saudy did an excellent job leading our group on a two hour tour of Worcester city centre. She was informative and houmous. She also managed to take us into a couple of places I suspect were not not on the normal tour route.
We would highly recommend her.
The tour was provided as part of a Rail Discoveries package tour.

Lovely feedback - thank you. We're happy to hear you enjoyed an excellent tour with Sandy. As with our guides, she has mastered the balance between information and humour to ensure our guests are entertained and not simply lectured on dry historical facts.

I went on a walk around the city centre with a small group of people. Our guide was clearly spoken, knowledgeable and good company. The guide gave us a good introduction to the rich history of Worcester, pointing out many things of interest, some of which were new to one of our number who was a resident of the city. The tour lasted about 90 minutes and represented very good value for money. Highly recommended.

Thank you for your high recommendation and we are delighted you enjoyed the tour. It's fair to say that our guides often surprise even city residents with little-known, often surprising, historical facts about Worcester!

Anne, our tour guide was exceptional. Her knowledge, delivery and pace were fantastic. I had never been to Worcester before though left feeling that I had learnt so much. Worth every penny as far as I'm concerned!

Thank you Peter for a lovely review. For new visitors to Worcester, our guides aim to give a far greater insight into the city's history that could be achieved by just wandering around the streets.
It seems that Anne nailed this completely!

Our guide Anne took us on a very comprehensive tour of Worcester. It was a very enjoyable and informative experience. Anne showed a great breadth of knowledge of Worcester and its history.

A very fascinating and informative tour conductor with good knowledge, humour and at the right walking pace by the Guide whose name is Sandy.
We were fortunate to be taken to a number of behind the scenes locations, for example, in the Town Hall and pubs/inns. We were also visited and learnt about the history of various points of interest around the City Centre. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Our guide was Sandy Cale. She was so interesting and enthusiastic. To see medieval structures we were taken in and out of pubs and coffee shops (they didn't seem to mind). Our walk over-ran as she had so much knowledge. An excellent tour.

Thanks for a great review. Sandy, as with all our guides, likes to take the group to see interesting historical features up close and personal ..... whether they are in a pub or a cafe!

My wife and I enjoyed an informative and interesting tour with Anne today. We learned a number of interesting facts about the city and it's history - Anne really brought it to life. We would recommend.
