An amazing trip climbing and scrabbling up and down waterfalls with the family. We were a mixed ability and age group with a number of young kids and we all had an amazing time. The guide Dan was very patient and supportive with us all and it was great to see the younger kids grow in confidence throughout the mini adventure. Would definitely recommend.

Had an afternoon rock climbing and abseiling booked with Dan Hale on 14/03/23, it was freezing we had rain and snow but Dan managed to get us to a decent spot that was still dry(castle inn quarry) to have our first go at rock climbing.
Dan was brilliant, being very patient, going over things as many times as we needed and not being pushy.
Needless to say my wife and I loved it even if we did have to cut the lesson short due to the cold.
We will definitely be looking at having another go in the summer and would definitely be hoping for Dan as the instructor top bloke thanks again

Wow! What a great experience which was well led. even the more rotund of us managed it! The group was led by Dan who was very patient and encouraged the most nervous to really enjoy themselves!

Me and my partner had an amazing time on a two day Winter Mountaineering course with our guide Richard. He was extremely knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about how to best plan routes and stay safe. He also knows a lot about the geography and history of the area which was interesting. We both felt the days were well tailored to our fitness levels as well as what we wanted to get out of the course. Overall we had a really fun and enjoyable time on the mountain and would highly reccomend both Seren Ventures and Richard.

Excellent Winter Mountaineering course in Snowdonia. Richard is a really knowledgeable and professional guide, and he’s super friendly. Great value for money too, very enjoyable and informative. Will be returning for more adventures.

Amazing experience with Dan around Snowdonia National Park! Two days visiting Yr Elen, Carnedd Llewelyn, Carnedd Dafydd, Bristly ridge and Y Gribin! Dan was an amazing guide and company who perfectly knew how to adapt the routes to our level while challenging ourselves!

Thank to Lewis for a really good Sunday. The waterfalls and rivers are beautiful. Lewis made it a day to remember. Jumping in to a big pool 7 m high and sliding of a waterfall was in the day’s activity plus climbing up a waterfall on the way out. Big thanks. Regards team Carsten

Wow! What an incredible adrenaline filled day. Despite the freezing cold November temperatures and constant rain we had the best day doing the Canyoning X Adventure. Lewis and Dan were fab. We had total confidence in them. The adventure included natural slides, waterfall jumping, deep pool jumping with up to 12 metre drops, zip lining and waterfall climbing. The guides led us through the adventure safely and with so much knowledge not only of the course but also the temporate rainforest we were in. We will definitely be back to Seren to try some of their other adventures! Thank you guys x

Family of 5 spent two days with Seren Ventures with Rich as our guide. We went climbing and abseiling on the first day and then mountain biking on the second after our extreme canyoning day was cancelled due to high water levels.
The children learned a huge amount about themselves on the abseiling and climbing with Rich being absolutely brilliant in terms of knowing just how to gauge the level each child. He knew when to encourage them to go forward and when to tell them to take a break.
In the end two of the children got to the top of the cliff face when at first they failed. The joy and sense of accomplishment felt by all of us was so exciting.
The mountain biking was thrown in a little bit last minute as the water levels were too high to go canyoning. What a great day out that was despite the rain. The children followed Rich down technical routes and the adults took a more relaxing route through the forest!
All in all a fantastic two days. Next time we are in North Wales we’ll be sure to get in touch with Seren Ventures to go on another adventure!

Fantastic multi-activity day in October 2022 doing gorge scrambling (AM) and rock climbing (PM), with kids aged 9 & 12. Sam our instructor was brilliant with the kids, motivating and stretching them throughout our day whilst keeping them safe.
Girls had a wonderful confidence building experience and were buzzing all evening. Definitely coming back with mum!
