What a great day out. A beautiful location with superb walks and excellent opportunities for picnics in lovely surroundings. With the added benefit of an excellen open air history with fantasticnal buildings from all across Wales. A wonderfu;l, new indoor museum with a good restaurant/cafe. What more do you need!

ウェールズまで行ったらウェールズの自然も味わいたい。なかなか自然だけ楽しむ時間を割けなくても、カーディフからなら少し西に向かうだけ、歴史博物館もあるので、ついでに訪問するのに丁度良い場所です。カーディフ市内よりよく整備されているので、散策するには持って来いです。

an epicurist picturesque beauty spot,, surrounded by nature,, ok to walk if your ok with it, pleasant and nice feel to it, certainly relieves stress and tension

Muito incrível o passeio pelo parque, com diversas construções medievais, todas ricas em detalhes. Um passeio de volta ao tempo!

Un grandissimo parco con castello e villaggio che mostrano come si viveva lì un tempo. Piacevole passeggiare per i vari sentieri e scoprire meravigliosi angoli di paradiso. Nonostante l'accesso sia gratuito, il parco è veramente curato e i servizi eccellenti.

You can easily spend all day here. There are lots of different types of buildings, not just houses and the area is well laid out and sign posted.
The indoor exhibition is interesting too.
Several places to buy refreshments and toilets dotted about. Easy to picnic too.
Fun for kids and you can see as much or as little as you like, there is no particular route to take.
Free entry but £5 to park the car all day. Don't arrive too late on a busy day if you want/need to park near the entrance.
My only criticism is that some of the farm cottages are kept so dark inside that it is difficult to view them properly. Also there could be more information about some of the artefacts in the buildings. The row of terraced cottages through the ages could be really interesting with dates and labels.

Thoroughly enjoyed our day out here. The weather helped! New galleries excellent as are the new outdoor buildings. One downside was the restaurant had stopped serving any hot food by 3pm (only drinks +sandwiches). We went over to the Plymouth Arms and had a nice meal there.
Note: if you're thinking of going to pub anyway you can park there and walk in to St Fagans. Saves on the car park fee!!

The gardens are amazing and extremely well kept! Loved it and want to come back in spring to see it at its best

You will find me walking around St Fagans at least once a week, I love the community here: the staff, the Bakery, the gardeners and the volunteers everyone is so friendly. So nice to be recognised and feel like you belong. I love all the formal gardens, the wild areas, the beautiful woodlands and huge beech trees. Because St Fagans outdoor space is so big you can find yourself walking quietly on your own. There is a huge bird community living here also- see if you can spot the kingfisher, the herron and the nuthatch!

Lovely day out, but if you have problems walking, I don,t think it,s the place for you, but you can take you time and there is plenty of seats to sit down, there's a long way between all the places to see, going back to see other part this year, because too tired last time,
