This summer has been a blast for our girl guides, applying for a summer grant after a year of on and off due to covid we have completed so many activities. The latest of which was to the Lagan sports centre. The girls from our youngest 6 to our oldest 56 went zorbing on the Lagan, a speedboat journey to the zorb and bell boating. The instructors on the night consisted of Dave, Jack and Mark and they were fantastic with each child no matter their ability. They even went above and beyond and got drums because some of the older girls remembered dragon boating up the Lagan. We will definitely be back in the new year for more activities and we would highly recommend this team for any of your adventures at the sports centre

we are going to carlow on a two day canoe expedition 1\2 September some off the people going have not being on the water before
So the idea was this lets get on the water we Get a professional to do the training so the novice paddlers couldl get some experience.
We went to Bryson Lagan ,Sport it very handy to Get too
The staff where great very friendly and welcoming we where we'll looked after
It was not long before we where on the jetty getting trained on virous aspects off using the canoes .we got on the water off we went the instructor was great had us all moving along great the wind was picking up so he took us along close to the bank. He took his time answers all are questions the confidence off the novice paddlers improved .It seemed like no time till it was time up we where just heading back when a big shower not lol .HEY THE PLACE IŚ WELL RUN WHEN I WAS THERE I FELT IN GOOD HANDS
SO GIVE THEM A GO ..........

We spent the afternoon here recently with kids school as a fundraiser boat race. Best kept secret in the city. Close to city centre and views from river of the ever changing and developing city are excellent.
