Attended whilst waited to be picked up
Wasn't made to feel awkward to be a lone diner
Good lunch menu and lovely soup and a toastie.
Cakes looked great wish I had more time to have one
Really good value and quality
Soup was brilliant wish I had the recepie!

This is somewhere fun to go on a rainy day with friends. There are SO many games here, hundreds! We played looney quest, cookie box, Obama llama and something else - all super fun. The staff can give recommendations if you dont know what to play either! It's pretty cheap, £4.75 and you can play for up to 3 hours if it's busy or as long as you want if it's quiet 😁
We ordered food too, the paninis were tasty for a cafe. The coffee was awesome too but the coke zero tasted flat, like it came from a 2L bottle.
If you're in the area, definitely call in for some fun! There's a game for everyone 😄😄

Went last night with my husband and 7 year old son. Such a great concept and the range of games is amazing! We got snacks and hot chocolate. The food menu is great, will definitely be back to try their lunch and dinner menus. Well worth a visit!

Jack Straws is Belfast’s only board game cafe. A cafe which warmly invites you to grab a coffee, have a chat and play a game - or as we did on this occasion just grabbed a bite of lunch. Food was excellent, the coffee great - with free top up - and the service swift and friendly!

I went tonight with my fiancee and we had so much fun! The selection of games was incredible. The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about the games and helped us find new games to try dependent on our tastes. We stayed for hours. We had already eaten but my strawberry milkshake was lovely and the food looked great. Good atmosphere and good fun!

Perfect for meeting up with friends and socialising with hundreds of games. All the classics and loads to learn! The food and coffee were brilliant too, will be back for the bbq chicken and chorizo panini! Definitely recommend a visit!

Love this place!!! Went with a few friends to play a game and have coffee and stayed until closing time! The staff were so friendly and made perfect recommendations for games that had us in stitches all night! Its great to find a place that is open late aswell :)

Love this little place! They have loads of games and have a good selection of nibbles. The staff are very friendly ... a few hours passes easily in here

I avoid board games as a rule - but throw in some food, drinks and friends and I was in. Incredible range of games with staff who can help you pick and show you how to play. Great night out!

I have been to Jack Straw's on multiple occasions with friends and family. Every time we receive a warm, friendly welcome; the cafe itself is very clean and inviting, with a fantastic family atmosphere. The range of board games available is huge (over 400), sorted into categories depending on what type of game you would like to play - if you're not sure, the staff are more than happy to provide recommendations. While you're playing I highly recommend trying some of the food - especially the desserts and traybakes, they're phenomenal! Always looking forward to my next visit.
