‪If you're scrolling the reviews wondering whether to book with Flip or not, save your finger & eyes and go straight to Flips website and get yourself booked in. 100% you won't regret it. Flip has a wealth of Knowledge of all things GOT & the region in general. We never felt rushed as can be the case with larger group tours.
Only got 5 stars as that's the max Tripadvisor allows 😁‬

‪Must-do in Northern Ireland!‬

‪Let me tell you this tour did not disappoint. We decided to book a private tour for our family of nine while we were in Ballycastle for our wedding. Communication was very efficient and they were able to accommodate us by locating a bus that could fit us all, which was very nice and cozy. Our bus driver was very kind and we felt very safe. Our tour guide Flip was beyond amazing! He was so knowledgeable about Northern Ireland, and Ireland in general. He explained different sights and gave back stories to anything of significance, all while answering all of our questions we threw at him. By the end of the tour, he was pretty much part of the family. We loved to hear about the culture and each sight we stopped at was beautiful. Our families could not stop talking about this particular tour and we would most certainly book it again next time we visit Ireland. Thank you Flip for everything, you are always welcome to join our family if you ever make it to the states!‬

‪I am a veteran of tours along the Antrim coast, but my three companions were not. We did an eclectic tour with Flip, ranging from Dunluce Castle down through the Glens. Such a pleasure! Delightful personality, flexible, and multi-faceted. He is now my go-to for touring in that part of Antrim.‬

‪Best day ever in Ireland!‬

‪Flip was amazing in all ways! Patient, timely, friendly and considerate. No problem with two young children felt safe and looked after all day. Got to all the sights we wanted to see and even had a nice lunch in between! Would do it again %!‬

‪The best way to see the Causeway Coast and Giant's Causeway‬

‪Flip our tour guide was so informative about everything from Belfast to Ballycastle. He told us about the geology, flora, fauna and history of the area. He's a great story-teller and told us about the behind-the-scenes events during the filming of Game of Thrones. My favourite story was the legend of Finn McCool and how the Giant's Causeway was made. The views he showed us along the coastal drive were magnificent, and once he found out that my husband was interested in maps, he was careful to point out the maps at the tourist stops. Flip also scheduled in breaks as we needed them and we had a delicious lunch at the O'Connor pub in Ballycastle. Giant Tours is a comfortable, safe and entertaining way to see the Causeway Coast.‬

‪Best tour, and best guide ever!‬

‪Having traveled using private guides for years, I have seen the bad, the good, and the exceptional…Flip is exceptional!! From my first communication with him, he was responsive and a delight to work with in tweaking our 2 days in Belfast. We had an interesting history together, as I first booked in 2020, then again in 2021, and finally decided to wait until 2024. Flip communicated with me all these years and held our spot until we finally made it.
This tour was worth the wait. Flip knows Ireland, and how to make you feel welcome, and like you are part of the family. You can’t buy that. He kept us entertained, made us feel like we were totally being taken care of (my sister recently injured her knee, and Flip took great care to be sure she was comfortable and safe.)
His history with Game of Thrones puts him in a unique position to really deliver the best experience possible. Flip showed us places and things that you will not get on other tours.
I am having trouble even writing this review because I can’t put into words the feeling that we all came away with. As our 2 days came to an end, we felt like we were leaving family behind. In our 14 days in Scotland and Ireland, we had a remarkable time with some great private guides, but none came close to Flip in knowledge, personality, and generosity of spirit!‬

Well hello “Pen Pal” I am so sorry that our time together, even two days, was over so quickly following our time planning and chatting back and forth over the years. You are so very kind with this review and I believe that you certainly did find the words. I can’t find the words to respond! What I can write is simply that I hope that you get to return someday soon and we can all pick up where we left off. There’s so much more to do and see here. Thank you! ‪Book this guy!! You won't regret it. We had a full day of fun when our ship docked in Belfast. Flip Robinson was our guide. We were picked up on time in nice Mercedes van. We were a group of 6, ages 15 to 76. He had water for us in the car. He helped my mother in and out of the car at each stop. We went to the Giant's causeway and Flip took us to see beautiful caves where scenes from some shows had been filmed. He also took us to old castles, beautiful rural countryside to see lime kilns, and a fabulous local restaurant for lunch. It was clear that he knew everyone and thoroughly enjoyed his job. I was struck by how knowledgeable and experienced he is. At the giant's causeway he explained the different rock types and how they formed as well as story of Finn McCool. He educated me about some more recent Irish history. My parents and my kids all loved it. If I go back, I will book another tour with Flip.‬

‪Stunning landscapes from waterfalls, fields and rocky coastline.‬

‪Our tour began with visiting the beautiful Glens of Antrim and ended with crossing the Carrick -a - Rede bridge. Flip was a skillful driver as he navigated the narrowest of country lanes in the Glens. These little roads offer breathtaking coastal views and wide vistas of patchwork fields of green. There was the occasional challenge and delight of meeting up with meandering livestock on these lanes. Flip also showed us some hidden gems along the coast that made for impressive photo opportunities. He was a delightful low key guide with a wealth of knowledge. He could answer all of our questions regarding the area's history, geography and geology. Flip has a pleasant demeanor and a good sense of humor. I highly recommend booking a tour with Giant Tours. Nothing seemed canned or scripted. It was a new discovery around every bend in the road and Flip seemed as enthusiastic as we were experiencing the magic of the Antrim coast.‬

‪Fabulous day! What great memories we will always have of our day with Flip who made this corner of Ireland come alive for us. We were a family of six including one very talkative and inquisitive 15 year old. Flip was so patient with him, and all of us. He is well spoken, easy to understand and speaks loudly enough for those in the back of the van to hear. We had ample time to see what we wanted and had a lovely pub lunch.

For a tour from Belfast, look no further, Flip is the finest guide you could ever hope to have‬

‪Flip was awesome! We were a party of 7, and he accommodated our shortened itinerary last minute and was able to squeeze in almost everything we wanted to see and do! We will be back to visit due to his tour and the things he showed us, we fell in love with Ireland. Highly recommend! Thanks Flip!‬
