This was a great way to learn about the politics of Northern Ireland and to see the areas of the city that were so horribly impacted. Our guide Jim was extremely knowledgeable, articulate, friendly, and humorous. We enjoyed the tour, spending time with Jim, and would recommend it to anyone!

Brilliant tour with Mark and Jim. Both guides were knowledgeable, balanced and able to add their own experiences from growing up and still living in the area. Would highly recommend the tour when in Belfast.

Could not recommend this tour enough. It really was the highlight of our trip. Robert was extremely accommodating and he was very informative and provided a very unbiased view on the troubles past and present day in NI. The tour is great value for money. I would definitely suggest booking with N1 black taxi tours if you’re visiting Belfast. Thanks again Robert!

Tour highly recommended . Both guides were fully knowledgeable and at the end we all agreed that our perceptions about the troubles were very thought provoking and brought about much discussion . A must do tour !

I really great and informative tour, which took in everything you would want to see of a tour of Belfast’s peace walls, murals, etc. our driver Eddie was really friendly and knowledgeable. Cheers Eddie

Our tour guide was Eddie and he was absolutely fantastic. He showed us all the spots we wanted to see and was really knowledgeable.

If you're lucky enough, you'll get Robert. I have lived in Co. Down and Belfast for over 20 years and I learned so much. My fiancee's parents came to Belfast for the first time from the States and haven't stopped talking about it. Such a rich, detailed, yet fluid (very open to questions) guide, and as a history researcher and teacher, nobody can top those 90 minutes like he did. Stellar. Strongly recommend this particular company. No bias whatsoever. Couldn't even figure out which side he was from!!

Jim was absolutely amazing..! He had so much knowledge which he delivered in a really friendly way. He took me to so many different areas and there were plenty of ‘stop-off’ points to take photos. As I was on my own - he took great photos of me - and I can’t thank him enough for that. If you do this tour, ask for Jim - he’s the best..!

The tour we had with Mark has left a massive impression on both me and my friends and was probably the single most interesting thing we did during our weeklong trip. I will be recommending this to anyone and everyone.

This taxi tour was absolutely excellent. Our tour guide Robert was so informative and engaging and really made the experience.
Our knowledge of the history of Belfast was very limited and my wife and I both came away having learnt so much.
I honestly could not recommend this activity more and would say that it is a must do when visiting Belfast to gain an understanding of the history of the city and Northern Ireland.

We did the taxi tour in the morning and he dropped us off at the Titanic museum which we toured in the afternoon. We booked the taxi tour thru our hotel and it was very reasonable

Hi. My boyfriend and I took this tour almost 2 years ago. I have a picture of our awesome driver and tour guide that I can text/email? We have misplaced his business card. My boyfriend is headed back with his friends to take this tour again. As a birthday gift for him I’m trying to track down the driver so he has the same one? Can you assist?

Do you have to book well in advance for the Black Cab Tour? I'm not sure what time to book because of my flight times.

We booked around 9:30am to be picked up at 12:30pm! I'm guessing in busier times they may not be able to accommodate but they were very flexible on this occasion.

How much does the tour cost

If you are in a group, the cost gets split, I went by myself and it was around 40 pounds. Well worth the cost, the driver was very knowledgeable and there is no other way to really do the tour, too far to drive and the bigger buses will not go into the different areas.
