Improve the food. Throw out the microwave. Food cooked out of a bag (frozen) or a box.

Came here for Sunday lunch with my family and the food was absolutely beautiful. The duck leg starter was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, the roast beef dinner was beautiful and the service was perfect. Would definitely recommend

A fabulous night for our 40th birthday party. Fortwilliam staff made our night a.night to remember . Service was excellent from bar& restaurant all went out of their way to make our celebration a success. Both old & young enjoyed the food music and atomsphere.

As golf clubs go the social area is functional and not particularly inviting. The decor all looked a bit sad. The dinning room was tucked away but had lovely views of the first tee. Although the balcony outside is run down. Sadly our food was distinctly average. Although the curry I was told (chicken) was tasty.
Don’t think I would go back when in Belfast again despite being an avid golfer.

Five adults and one two year old for Sunday lunch and every dish was good. If anything staff undersold dishes in an effort to provide accuracy.
We had four different starters including soup, caesar salad, scampi and mains included turkey, steak and fish mornay. The food was tasty and plentiful enough, accompanied by steamed vegetables. Deserts were good and staff went to the trouble of having fresh custard prepared upon request.
There is a tendency to use those small fresh water precooked shrimps in fish dishes and they just tighten up upon recooking. Hopefully this practice will be rectified. It really does cheapen and compromise the dish.

Nice wee lunch at Fayre View Bistro and Grill. This is the catering franchise attached to Fort William golf club, so great views across the golf course and the Lough. The food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced with friendly service. Give it a try if you are in the area.

A thoroughly enjoyable round of golf. My congratulations to the greenkeeper. Greens were immaculate and true, really excellent. There's an absurd appreciation when you miss a five footer and wind up fifteen feet past. The pro Ricky was very welcoming. Very changeable weather when we played but good for the most part. A very picturesque course which, as I suppose most courses do, rewards accuracy, course management and a bit of local knowledge. Hopefully I'll have more of a better grip on atleast one of these aspects next time. I'll return soon. Again, the greens were really in fabulous condition.

We had pre-booked a table for 7.30pm in Belfast Castle but arrived there to discover only the lunch menu was available. Two of the three of us were looking forward to a steak dinner which was simply not an option and we left disappointed. We headed for the nearest restaurant we could think of which happened to be in Fortwilliam Golf Club. None of us had eaten there before but we were hungry and willing to give anywhere a try. As luck would have it it was Thursday and Thursday is steak night in Fortwilliam. We had two sirloin steaks with all the trimmings for a mere £25, both cooked as requested, one medium rare and one well done. We also had a burger with skinny fries, two desserts, two coffees and a pot of tea with the total bill coming in at just under £50 which is a lot less than we would have paid in the castle. The waiting staff were friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were pleasantly surprised and definitely intend to be back.

We went for a meal early December tht was a total disaster had to wait hour for meal it was cold and we had to wait over an hour for it.coffe machine not working as we all fancied coffee royals. Gave second chance today it was really beautiful and cooked to perfection.everybody deserves 2nd chance would definitely recommend to my friends and family who would like a chill out lunch

Arrived at 12 ( pre booked) ,we wer the only ones in restaurant,order taken 12.55, parsnip soup which tasted like sugar puffs with added sugar,sandwiches - had better at home ,fish nd chips,over half was left on plate,coffees ord,machine was broken.this place came highly recommended,but I will never be back,ok short staffed they wer told but still no excuse.plus felt unwell rest of the night,
