Called into Omagh library on Saturday morning looking for a newspaper from 1998. A girl called Megan went to a lot of bother to find the paper. Megan was very polite and helpful, a credit to Library NI.

I'm not here to say it's a bad library but I'm just concerned that when you go to the front desk and say you're looking for a book to read they start asking you all these tricky questions like what johnra and if I want any fact or friction
All i wanted was a book about tractor like the one i used to reed when i was at school with ryan, sean and marty the mouse

Excellent library - visited in the summer and I've now bought copies of all the books I borrowed.
Knowledgeable friendly staff and a great selection of books.
It's lovely to take the kids and there's a really good teen fiction section well away from the picture book corner!
Like other reviewers the ebooks and audiobooks online have been wonderful during the recent lockdown. They also have an app for magazines, comics and graphic novels which saves our family so much money!

I know, thats two, but I travel a lot for work and the online library has saved my life. Once you have the card, you can use the overdrive app to download audio books. I was here the other week to get a new card as I lost mine and the login details too.
Anyway, the staff were great, engaging and (best part) helpful.
Omagh Library is an inviting space with good light and ambiance.
Pay it a visit.

Omagh Library is great for the local community. It is really helpful to have a place that you can go to use computers or read some books, a great help for those without access to computers at home.

Whenever we go here with the kids, it's always great. Books well displayed and just a lovely experience.

I cannot praise this facility any higher. This is a hidden gem for the community with so much to offer from numerous daily groups meeting together to the range of facilities such as Audio Books, Electronic Books, Electronic magazines, Free Wifi, Newspapers, Amazing Children's section. They even have a Seasonal Affective Disorder lamp so you can top up on natural light whilst reading. The staff are very helpful and are always available. Well done and keep up the great work.

A great building housing not only books but electronics also so you can browse the shelves or surf the web. Many other activities also held within the Library and a great meeting place for those looking to spend a few hours in the company of others.

Great place to read more history about Omagh and the surrounding area. The librarians were so friendly and helpful.

Our holiday in Omagh included several visits to the library. The librarians were very helpful and the kids were able to read many books not available at home.
