Some gym equipment arnt properly maintained, but most are alright. The changing rooms have been closed for 2 years now, so you have to go home or to work with sweaty gymwear on. There is no cold air con in the gym floors so it gets unpleasently hot.

I only use the pool facility so can only comment on this part of the facility. The main pool is very cold and the smaller non swimmers pool is very warm. Both pools are sometimes overcrowded as there is a partition divide, which causes issues for families and swimmers alike.
The place is very clean around the pool but does get dirty floors around the locker area probably due to the open nature of the layout.
I honestly prefer the pool in Enniskillen which is better laid out in terms of changing rooms and pool crowding.

Excellent well run facility! Unbelievable how busy and buzzing this Leisure Facility is! Plenty to do with our Kids in the Pool, again really busy but the atmosphere was great.
Food is Cafe on site was delicious - slight wait due to a very busy Cafe. Home all fed and happy! Look forward to being back soon.

Why is it that Omagh has such amazing potential but mediocre seems to be the standard operation of the leisure centre.
There are a number of broken lockers which have been highlighted to staff and months later they are still not repaired.
There are a number of broken keys to the lockers which have been highlighted to staff and months later are still not replaced.
Members of the public are allowed to walk into the pool area with their DIRTY SHOES on. There is a small sign and foot coverings but I have yet to see it being enforced. There is no clear boundary between outside shoes and swimming pool area and sometimes I am trying to dodge dirt from outside just get to the pool.
This area is cleaned at the end of the day but I never see anyone cleaning outside dirt accumulated on the floor.
The last 4 times I have visited there was a pool party which means that on the BUSIEST DAYS OF THE WEEK you have three quarters of the pool sectioned off for the pool party with 4-8 individuals and I counted over 40 individuals in the smallest part of the pool.
My children do not know how to swim so I am literally stuck in a small section bumping into people because the leisure centre thinks to make extra money when all it does is put people off and lose money.
One other time there were two individuals in the largest section of the toddler pool and over 30 people just watching them and waiting for them to bog off so they could breathe.
The last time I went the toddler pool was sectioned off again leaving one quarter for many people and the main pool was sectioned leaving just one quarter of the pool. Also the toddler pool was very cloudy hopefully not an indication of dirty water.
Am I to pay one quarter of the price of the ticket when this mismanagement is happening?
It such a shame because people deserve better, after all we are all funding it with our taxes and then paying for an awful experience.

Forget it if you are a keen swimmer at any level. There is no consideration given for adults wanting to swim. One "swim lane" which is often very busy and 1/2 or 2/3 of the pool given over every morning for clubs and schools, plus no availability on a Friday 7-8! What a nonsense. Those wanting to swim before work forget it. Oh and a learner pool that is NEVER used for learners. Maintenance is also becoming a major issue, the pool changing area is becoming shoddy looking, a light has been out in the ladies showers for nearly a month, countless locker problems and one start button in the jacuzzi hasn't worked in well over 2 months. The only saving grace (and the reason this didn't get a review of "terrible") is most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Drove 7 miles this morning for a swim only to find the pool closed "for maintenance", 7.45am nearly an hour after opening and there was no-one doing any work in the pool area!

The building is very impressive and I felt there was good facilities. Ample parking, lifts, a cafe. They had 2 toddler pools, a child's/learners pool and the adult pool. There was loads of lockers and changing rooms, family change, group change and accessible changing rooms. There were lots of toilet facilities. The life guards were very attentive and I felt very safe.
There seems to be loads to do there between the pool, gym and health suite and there were rooms for parties ect.
It was very clean and fresh and just over £8 for 2 adults and 3 children to pass a few hours

Average but good. Spacious, can be expensive and not always worth the drive up. Staff are friendly and always willing to help

Its now a couple of years since the refurbishment and already the changing facilities are showing signs of wear and tear. The swimming area and village changing are basic. Designed to get everyone in and then out - there is not much in the way of luxury or convenience. I think that the wrist band on every locker key is broken (because the plastic has deteriorated) and so you have to leave your key sitting at the side of the pool. Many a time I have put my stuff into a locker and had to remove it because the key was jammed. Coat hooks have been removed from the inside of cubicle doors creating little peepholes. The pool itself is good. If you are in to do lengths there is one lane reserved for that purpose, but that one lane can get busy and the rest of the pool is usually given over to kids on one side and lessons on the other. It's not cheap either - pool and health suite £7! The health suite is £5 - you would think they could throw in complimentary swim (but I think that most people just use the pool anyway). I use this pool simply because I like swimming and it is the only one for 20 miles.

Having been away for a few years so it was fantastic to see the new amenities Omagh has to offer. Always found even the old facilities clean but it was need of a revamp

...swimming can be very overcrowded. Omagh Lesiure Complex is a great new renovated complex, it boasts very good facilities and a fantastic canteen with lots of healthy (and the odd not so healthy) treats. Disabled/wheelchair users gain access in the form of lifts.
There are lots of activities and classes to suit all ages and abilities and in all fairness, you're probably spoilt for choice with what the OLC offers; albeit classes may not suit your own daily routine with time restraints. I can't comment too much on the classes as I haven't attended any. I use the gym, pool and health suite.
Very friendly staff, and also very knowledgeable. Off peak the gym is very quiet, and you can normally get on a piece of equipment without waiting, the pool on the other hand is often partitioned to allow for school children coming and going through the day, this can cause the remaining 3rd of the pool to become very overcrowded. The health suite is normally quiet but every once in a while, the jacuzzi can be shoulder to shoulder, but there is a sign saying no more than 12 at any one time (often ignored). Overall, the leisure complex meets the needs of many, it's simple supply and demand ethics. Great place to waste a morning or afternoon, when I say waste, I mean get a god workout at the gym :)
