Called in past as a random passing trade and never been at since the revamp ,all looked good staff and man himself very friendly and helpfull ,enjoyed our supper and will be in past again , good prices and that’s what you need to get people to go give a try ,thanks again Hatton mill

My wife and I visited a few nights ago for supper, nice cosy atmosphere with it being nearly Xmas, great friendly service and lovely food. The lounge was nice and warm, the beer was fresh and cold. What more could anyone want? Well worth a visit.

Just had the best Scampi and Chips ever. It came with a lovely salad, creamy colslaw and tartare sauce. Lots of scampi and beautifully cooked chips. All for £6. Rick introduced himself as it was our first visit. He was very pleasant and welcoming and we will very definately be back both for another takeaway and to book a table. We had a look at the menu and it looks good. If the scampi is anything to go by, we are in for a treat.

Local Pub for local people but is always left to feel a burdon! Cold looking place with no excitement within the Bar. Music from the Jukebox is turned down if the landlord does not approve. Landlord needs better people skills but acts like this because he knows that he is the only pub in the village. Even then it is now quieter than ever!
He loves to drink in his bar while ignoring all his regulars, even when s**t goes down he is nowhere to be seen but is first to point the finger at anyone else bar his 'close pals'.
I used to be down all the times and now once in a blue moon as he does not contribute towards the village and does nothing to encourage people to drink within his premesis. For example he does not even encourage the local football team to come back after games or even after they won a Cup Final he did nothing.
No imagination regarding so-called entertainment he puts on once or twice a year as it is the same performers each year.

we have only been here twice and it was a bit of a dump, not what you expect from a country pub. will not be going back.

Well well yet again the Hatton Mill had another boxing match. It was more like WWE tag team. What is happening to this place? Police and ambulance this week. Maybe if the landlord actually stepped in now and again instead of drinking his profits this may help dissolve the situation before it erupts. I've had it with that place, too much fighting. Shame because the meals are lovely.

The landlord of this local pub has some serious issues and as for the locals.... They are not at all friendly to new comers. Went in with my wife for a quiet drink in the lounge an there ended up being a big fight break out in the bar. I would advise anyone to avoid this place and would suggest the landlord take some people skills classes.

Hi my grandmother was born in Hatton Lodge on 12 February 1908 her name was Isabell Strachan Rennie. We are going to be in Scotland in Early September and I was wondering if there are any public tours that we can do at Hatton Lodge.
