Liked this place so much, don't know what else I can say to enthuse enough about our first public outing enough. Well done all in Campbelltown.

What a beautifully restored and refurbished building. It has two screens, the seating is comfortable and well spaced.

We absolutely loved our visit here. Having been to quite a few interesting cinemas around the country, this one did not disappoint. It has been really well restored and was comfortable and modern while also retaining its charm. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Shall definitely return.

This picture house is a self sustaining charity built in 1913 and renovated in recent years this is a modern front to a traditional picture house.
We saw Avengers:Endgame here and came away feeling great, the screen is viewable without flicking my head from side-to-side and the sound system didn't knock out any of my fillings.
This is not a 'second run' cinema but a prime release hall but it looks and feels like a different time. It also shows all of the theatre/ concert transmissions and even some older celebrated movies.
The seats are a pleasure to sit on the prices are as expected in a cinema today but somehow don't feel overpriced and the cafe is open during the day for casual passers wanting a coffee.
There are also some small halls and would make a great destination for company team building exercises.

Today we spent a rainy afternoon at the cinema. We searched on Google and the image of the building was not impressive but in reality it is clean, freshly painted, modern and comfortable. The image is obviously out of date. There is a cafe in the entrance hall serving light meals and you can buy popcorn and drinks. There was only a choice of 4 bags of chocs so next time I will take my own. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also very easy to book online.

On hols in the area and it was raining so I took the girls to see Dumbo. First time in the picture house and have to say it was great, well set out and fresh and new. A bit expensive for people on a budget. If you want a place to visit in Campbeltown then I recommend you give this place a try. The staff were very nice and friendly. Toilets were very clean as well.

The redevelopment of this cinema is fantastic and the cafe is modern clean with superb views over Campbeltown loch .

Campbeltown Picture House is one of the oldest in Britain, it opened in 1913, and has recently been renovated and restored to it's former glory. Well worth visiting just to see the cinema, and if the film is good it's a bonus. There are two screens. I've only been to screen 1, which is the largest and oldest. It has been nicely updated but retains some very unusual original design features. The cafe in the foyer serves a nice cup of coffee and has good views of Campbeltown's busy harbour.

Visited the Campbeltown picture house during a two night stay in Campbeltown. What a lovely surprise. It has recently undergone a superb upgrade. It is the way picture houses used to be instead of the mass cinema you normally experience. The welcoming staff were very friendly and helpful. The film itself was amazing bohemian rhapsody.
Would highly recommend a visit to this unique picture house.
