This little gallery offers so much! Beautiful art and craft works starting from a few pounds. There are also some great worskops and events run by Julie who is so welcoming.

Julie Hollis who is the owner is a lovely person who has time to talk to you. She takes photographs of places of local interest and then makes prints which she sells. She is very talented. She also has wood carvings which are beautiful and jewellery. The prices are very good.

Spent afternoon learning how to do needle felting.Really enjoyed it,Julie excellent teacher,gives very clear demonstrations in relaxed manner.Studio lovely,varied of choice of craft materials.Coffee,tea and cake plentiful.

Spent a day learning to silk paint. Completed 3 small projects to take home.
Excellent activity in the company of 4 other ladies. Instructions clear and nice relaxed atmosphere. Coffee and cake too!
I would recommend this to anyone wishing to try something new.
Looking forward to trying some other workshops and trying out my new skills at home.

After finally managing to grab a bit of time for myself on one of my weekend visits to Dumfries, I made it to the gallery - all on the back of a few snippets of ads & articles in Dumfries & Galloway Life.
I arrived in the midst of the Viking village being established at the front door - it all sounded very serious....
After a cheery hello I was left to wander - which was exactly what I wanted.
Once I'd spotted what I came in to buy in the first place, I relaxed - I could just take in all the rest in peace.
- or not -
it was so easy to have a chat
- just daft conversation & swappings of stories about kids cartoons
- but that was (as Goldilocks said) JUST RIGHT

You will receive a very warm welcome from Gallery owner and artist Julie Hollis. you may catch her hard at work on one of her art pieces. Plenty of high quality craft items to browse around as Julie supports many of us local crafts people by displaying our work in this very cosy Gallery. Great source of gifts for every occasion.
