Took my phone in to have the battery changed as it was on its way out. He said it will be 35 pounds and to come back in half an hour. I returned and he handed me back my phone and said it is done. Took it home, charged it up, and it was exactly the same. Took it to another shop where the told me that not only was the battery still the original, but in their opinion the phone had never been opened.
He basically just took 35 pound off me for nothing.
He will be getting a visit.

Never again will I be taking my phone to be fixed by lineout in Dumfries ever again.. it was sent in for a simple LCD screen replacement I get it back and the whole screen isn't working at all.. take it back gets sent to be fixed again message a few days later on collection day to be told nahh it's not back be the weekend.. messaged at the weekend yes it's fine come get it okay sorted after a week I'll finally have it back.. to get it and it have to go back again cause it's still flashing and there's now a black dot on the screen.. gets told Tuesday definitely Tuesday be back so that'll be 2 weeks without it's whatever at this point.. so message the Tuesday nope not left the town it'll be there tomorrow instead.. told them it was a joke that it had been sent back 3 times and the issue still not resolved for him to give me the "it's only one day" speech.. mate you've had it 2 weeks and it's worse than what it was when I brought it in 🙃.. guy said he would give full refund if there was any problems with it on the Wednesday so I settled said okay and went about the day.. to then finally go to collect my phone yesterday.. nahh it's no been fixed it's still got the black dot (that was never there when I took it in) and it's still flashing at me.. told the guy this isn't right you said full refund.. guy says nahh sorry can't do that.. I'm sorry what aye you can you haven't fixed it you've had 2 weeks I was patient as heck and now this.. if it wasn't for my brother going in I'd have been walking away with my old screen on my phone.. instead I'm having to make do with flashing and black dots alongside a temperamental touch screen, every photo and video you might as well be a Simpson cause the colouring is all off the list goes on.. I'm fuming beyond words and do not recommend this company it's been nothing but stress and unnecessary agro

Top notch customer service couldn’t of asked for better! The guy was super helpful and was very eager to help fix my phone! Was done with in half an hour and made my week by getting it done in time for me to go back to work! Will definitely be going back there again. Good price too!

On first impression seemed good priced better than competition. Son had cracked my screen the gent in shop told me would be ready the next day, phoned next day was told he'd tried contact me as model had been taken down wrong couldn't get part and was going be an extra £30 ontop tried following day still not ready finally 3 days later and £30 more than ticket quoted got phone back to find simcard slot bent out shape as if someone has prised open glue all over my phone screen no longer flush and held together with selotape all in all not good will not recommed.

My son went in today and was sold an unmarked cable for his phone. No safety instructions, just a plastic bag. When I took it home it wasn’t working properly. Took it back to the shop to be told it worked and can’t be refunded as I have no receipt. I wasn’t given one... I wonder why this is... anyway, I informed the very uncooperative staff that what had been purchased 30 minutes earlier was not fit for purpose, working and it was in violation of the consumer protection act (1986) - being that it could cause a fire (had I, as advised, connected the cable to an apple plug, the cable was Samsung). I have emailed the “boss” and will be taking this to trading standards of it is not rectified.
Both the vennal store and the high street store were involved in this. Argumentative and unhelpful staff - I was appealed.
Do not advice anyone shop here.

absolutely disgusted with the service took a tablet with a crack to get fixed picked the tablet up with more cracks and chunks of glass missing also back hanging off and held together with sellotape not happy is an understatement and customer service shocking

Took 2 iPads to be fixed, indeed they were fixed, must admit 1 I can't fault the fixing on the other has been nothing but problems. Home button has popped out of place and under the screen , screen is also making a popping noise as though it's not fitted correctly, screen is also cracking (from the inside ) caused by either button or screen popping , took back and lady in shop very polite said she would call manager and contact me she also agreed on how crack etc was caused. Calls me back saying management can't fix and gives me their number, phone them to be told it's not their fault as crack doesn't start at home button, wouldn't have thought it needed to considering screen is popping out! They then inform me company were taken over by new management in January and you or they can't speak to actual owners except thru email as they don't have a number to call them on, absolutely shocking service!!!

Repaired my phone cheaper than other quotes. Friendly service. Did a quick minor repair for man in front of me free, others I'm certain would have wanted a fiver for.
