Megan is very good guide and companion. She showed us almost all of Scotland. That is a fairytale country! We advice her to everyone. Thank you very much Megan)

Tackled the Aonach Eagach ridge in Glencoe with the assistance of the excellent Megan. It was an incredible day out and genuinely couldn’t have gone better. She was knowledgeable and very friendly. This was a scary climb with scrambling involved but she was reassuring throughout. Transport and food was also provided and was very good, highly recommended!

Summary
- Megan is super friendly, professional, and flexible with respect to logistics and picking out a hike based on who's in the group
- We climbed several munros and had a blast
- Food was delicious, both the sandwiches we picked up and the restaurant we stopped at on the way back
- I unfortunately forgot my passport at the sandwich shop on the way to the trail, and Megan was handled it perfectly and helped me pick it up on the way back.
- There's a reason this company has only 5 star reviews!
Megan provided transportation for my friend and me to and from Edinburgh - she rents a car, very much appreciated and makes the whole process go much smoother, especially given her flexibility in pick-up within Edinburgh. After we picked up sandwiches, I unfortunately left my passport at the shop - Megan handled it perfectly. She called the shop and made sure it was secure, and she was super friendly about picking it up on the way back.
We got lucky and the weather was perfect - clear skies and 100% visibility. Megan is excellent at picking hikes based on who's in the group - we asked for a challenging hike, and we got it! We climbed several munros in one day and had a blast.
On the way back we were running a little late with respect to picking up my passport - she ran ahead to get the car and picked us up along the tail-end of the trail to make sure we got to the shop on time - our legs were very appreciative for the early pick up.
We stopped at a restaurant on the way back and the food was delicious - I ordered a venison burger and my friend got fish & chips, perfect food to recharge after a long hike.
Couldn't recommend this more highly.

I absolutely loved my day with Megan on Ben Lomond and hope to bag more Munros with her on future trips! From the morning pickup at my Edinburgh hotel to the deli lunches we picked up, snacks and water provided—not to mention great Scottish tunes in the car and the sights she pointed out along the way—the Munro Bagging Co. was the perfect solution for this solo traveler. She was a both a highly competent and very congenial guide up the trail to the top, kept our little group going through rain, hail and snow. Being able to relax in her car on the way back to Edinburgh capped a perfect day for me.

It was a close call a few times but thanks to Megan's expert guidance and persistance, the flatlander (me, from Florida, USA) won!
As we got closer to the hiking date, Megan got in touch with me a few times regarding what to wear, food preferences, some training tips, where I was staying, etc. A great plus is that she will pick you up at your hotel - no navigating your way around an unfamiliar city!
After one stop to pick up sandwiches at a tucked-away deli, we were off.
The munro Megan picked was Stob Dubh (Buachaille Etive Beag) at 956 meters (3136 feet). I'm not going to lie, I struggled a bit. Megan was quick to pick up when a break was needed, and filled the break time with facts about the surrounding peaks, taking photos, etc. Her suggestion of 'dress in layers' was dead on - by the time we reached the top I had taken my jacket and sweatshirt off. OH, ladies - leave your purse at home and use a backpack. Your purse will only get in the way.
The path on this munro was rocky but easy to follow. The view from the false summit, and then the real summit was worth the huffing and puffing it took to get there. Megan took plenty of photos during the entire climb, and sent them to me the next day.
Getting off the munro was a piece of cake, and afterwards Megan took us to a wonderful little place and got the BEST hot chocolate with a wee drop of Bailey's.
I found Megan to be very personable, professional, and she certainly knows her way around Scotland's peaks.
I would definetly recommend The Munro Bagging Co if you have a free day and want to do something a little out of your comfort zone.

Having lived in Scotland for a year, this tour provided a new insight into the country. We hiked up to 2 beautiful munros in Glen Coe valley, and the view was just spectacular. The lunch is picked up from a high-quality local deli, and the tour is full of little details you would not discover about Scotland otherwise. A great value for money.

The mountain guided tour offered by The Munro Bagging Co. is the easiest way to enjoy a journey hiking in the Scottish mountains.
Since I don't have a car I find specially interesting that the transport is included. Moreover, the trip is perfectly organised and you'll be nicely attended to ensure that you enjoy the best possible experience. Megan is a fantastic guide and a really nice person, so time flies by chatting on the road. We were hiking in Buachaille Etive Mor, al amazing place.
I recommend it 100% and I will repeat as soon as possible.

As a solo traveller (and an inexperienced winter hill walker) I was apprehensive about attempting my first Munro in unpredictable winter conditions; Megan offered all the benefits of an expert guide to make my experience comfortable and worry-free. She made sure I had the right clothes and gear, expertly chose a suitable hike given the conditions and led a safe path up and down the Munro, making the Ben Vorlich hike a highlight of my Scotland trip.
Outside of the hike itself, my experience with Megan and Munro Bagging Co. was exceptional. Megan was very accommodating and was happy to take me on a solo hike with only 24 hours notice. Above all, she was super friendly and gave me a truly Scottish experience: Megan offered travel tips and insights into Scottish traditions while playing Scottish music on the ride over to make sure there was never a dull moment!
I highly recommend Munro Bagging Co. for an adventurous day-trip out of the Scottish cities, espicially if you're looking for a winter hike!

A lovely hike up one of Scotland's favourite mountains. Megan was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and managed to get some great photos of us on the walk. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Scotland and looking for an alternative to the usual tourist spots.
