Maggie was simply wonderful! Her historical knowledge of Scotland and the stories of the country were so entertaining. Her warmth and enthusiasm made our day together a highlight of our trip. Recommend her highly!

While on a coach tour of Britain, we had a free day in Edinburgh. For that day, we made arrangements with Scotland and More for a tour of Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland. Maggie was a truly exceptional guide with a wonderful personality. Her knowledge and explanations of history, culture, and features of the area were super. This was a major highlight of our trip to Britain, and I heartily offer her my strongest recommendation.

Thank you for such a lovely review. I enjoyed spending time with you and your wife and I also enjoyed our trip to Lindisfarne and Bamburgh. It is a wonderful area, full of history and I am happy that it was a memorable visit for you both.

People we met on a cruise had planned a tour with Maggie and asked us to join them. Maggie, David and Paul were really excellent. All were extremely knowledgeable and really fun. They made an effort to design the tour to whatever we wanted to do. Most of our tour was in and around St. Andrews and the countryside. They had wonderful vehicles that comforably fit four people. I know that they do tours all over the area so I would not hesitate to recommend them for a wonderful time.

Accomodatins were very comfortable and many times luxurious. Food always first class and quite elaborate and gourmet style. Would have liked a simple meal some times.
Excellent program and services. Well beyond high expectations,
Maggie MacCloud is knowledgeable end Scotland lives through her. She is genuinely a peoples person and we learnt a lot about the history, geography, culture and the people of Scotland

Kinloch Lodge home of Clan Donald , Lady Claire, was wonderful, as were her cooking lessons.
Marcello Tully, the Michelin starred chef at Kinloch was wonderful also.
The views and planning were perfect.
Maggie Maccleod was excellent and on of the best guides in Scotland.

Maggie and Harry are the best. They took my family on a week-long trip through the Scottish Highlands starting from Edinburgh. We learned so much about Scottish history and culture, as well as about our own clan history, and it was exactly what we had hoped to get out of the trip.
Maggie constantly went out of her way to plan extra activities and site visits that she knew would be special for my family, and she was always right.
Plus, they were always on time ("Time waits for no man," says Harry), and always cheerful :)
10/10, easily.

We had a wonderful birthday trip for my brother-in-law Doug ,and we all had an amazing time. Thank you Maggie and thank you Harry, our driver. Maggie was wonderful and helped us understand the history of so many interesting points and places that we visited. Very well read and had a great sense of humor which was so appreciated.
Enjoyed our tours immensely , as we spent six days together. Thank you Maggie and Harry for everything ,and we will be happy to refer you anytime. Job well done.

Majestic and well planned, Maggie McLeod was able to take our family and friends to places that meant so much to our family's heritage. Maggie was so knowledgeable and shared so much with us about Scotland and the Scottish Highlands. Loved some of the "Outlander" stops! We felt like we had known Maggie for ages and were sad to say goodbye as she became a wonderful friend to all 11 of us! We also loved our driver, Harry, he was a pleasure to be with and was an excellent addition to our trip!

It was a great trip, with something for everyone - Golf, Ancestry, Scenery, Outlander, Cruising on Loch Torridon and, not forgetting, the scones with jam and cream! I missed my new friends when you left! xx

I am arranging a private tour for a group of 16 adults. We arrive at the South Queens Ferry dock on a Princess Cruise line ship August 22nd 2015 at 7 am. We would like to be picked up at the dock, driven to St Andrews to view the Clubhouse and tour the town with time for lunch there. The we would like to return to Edinburgh to visit the Museum of Scotland and Edinburgh Castle.
Our ship departs at 19.00 on the 22nd so we would need to be back at the dock by 17.00.
Do you have a vehicle and driver available? If so what would the cost be?
