We're a young portuguese couple and went on Dan's tour last week. He's an amazing storyteller and was able to blend in fantastical tales and scottish history. He was also very funny and charismatic. We loved the tour finale, but we'll not spoil it for you 👻👻👻
At the end, we tipped Dan because we loved the tour so much, but unlike other "free" experiences, Dan was not pushy at all!

We done the tour on Halloween and had a fantastic time on the ghost tour which was lead by Glen. He is amazing at his story telling, filling us with lots of facts about the history of Edinburghs gory side and plenty of laughs along the way. He was highly entertaining. Throughly enjoyed it and highly recommend you do it. It was our first walking tour and won’t be our last.

Graeme is an excellent guide. It was a good starting point to the history and the haunted pasta of Edinburgh.

We thoroughly enjoyed Rory's gory stories. Rory has a very easy to like personality and takes the time to get to know a bit about the members of his groups during the walks between stops. Each stop is well planned out and the stories fascinating. 90 minutes goes by in a blink. Note: just be aware that this tour does not end where it began.

Had a great time listening to Rory’s Gory Stories! Very knowledgeable, authentic, and interacted well with everyone. It’s our first time in Edinburgh and we were very impressed!

Great experience with Alvaro!! It led us into the darkest Edinburgh, its most intriguing mysteries and the paranormal tales that surround the history of this ancient city. A crack!! Recommended 100%!

Yes, don't worry, there were very young children there and nothing too scary. Our guide tailored his talk to their ages accordingly. Sorry for late reply! Enjoy!
