We had a great shopping experience at the Byres street location in the West End with Helen and Anastasia assisting!
The selection was great, and there was a large variety of sweaters, coats, scarves, purses, gloves offered in several patterns and colors. We found the quality was high and were happy to find authentic Scottish made clothing.
We will definitely return on a future visit to the area.

Have to say, had an extremely positive experience here with Saty, who tried to call around to get a special ladie’s bag for me, and held the one I wanted until I returned on the train later in the day. Above and beyond, didn’t have this same experience in any of the similar shops that I had been in over the last two weeks!
Very friendly, honest, and professional!

This shop is inviting with its beautiful array of wool scarves, hats, sweaters and blankets in all different tartans. Sara, the woman helping us, found my clan’s tartan for me and then gave us a list of amazing tips and things for my husband and I to do on our visit. I couldn’t have picked a better shop to begin our trip to Glasgow! Thank you, Sara!

Wonderful to find a shop in Glasgow that still supplies fine Scottish knitwear and insist on a policy of made in Scotland for the majority of its stock. The staff were very warm and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit.

We were drawn from the street because of the magnificent window dusplay of all things tartan, kilts, bags etc.
Well what a delightful retail experience.
Marishka from Slovenia (the colourful assistant) guided us through the different wares, with much knowledge of the making and origins of the various factories where they were made.
She was delightful and would recommend anyone to go and peruse the quality items in here!

Janice was excellent. Nice shop. Had a variety of brands... get it while it's on promotion even better. We got merino wool socks and pullover.

Lovely little shop. Great selection of quality goods. We went because my husband wanted to purchase a kilt and the staff were so helpful. They were friendly and informative. He is so happy with our purchase.

I had saved this shop on my Tripadvisor itinerary, but be warned....there are so many beautiful things in there you will have a hard time deciding. Janice and Lauren were so helpful to me when I was trying to make rational decisions ;) I ended up buying a blanket and a cute knit hat with a Scottie Dog on it. I was delighted to find out that the hat, made in Nepal, is actually helping people find work through a charity. It made my feel good purchase all the better. Definitely the best selection in Glasgow that I found.

I had just come from Edinburgh and seen all the shops on the Royal Mile but didn't find anything I liked... I'm so glad I held out until I got to Glasgow! I was looking for quality Scottish cashmere and this shop had it with top quality Scottish and more budget UK made cashmere. This was the only shop I visited that had Johnstons of Elgin products, and they had a large selection. Alison was extremely helpful and kind, picking up my cues for when I wanted a little space to roam and when I wanted to chat. She went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I wanted once I shared what I was looking for and even shared tartan color history with me while I was browsing, making my purchase even more memorable of this trip. They also had a large selection of wool and silk goods from scarves, stoles, to blankets that were all beautiful. I'll definitely be back to this store anytime I visit Scotland and highly recommend!
