Excellent tour, taking in the sights of Glasgow throughout history - learned about St Mungo, the building of the cathedral, Glasgow's huge influence and prosperity in the industrial revolution and slave trade, and modern education and politics. Tour guide Grace gave an amazing performance and made everyone feel welcome.

This was a poor tour on a sunny day in Glasgow. An inordinate amount of time was spent on an albeit excellent modern mural of St Mungo, when what I was there for was the architecture and history of this great city. Also, rather too many nationalist comments so typical of some Scotsmen and women, they need to realise that one of their main markets is English tourists, and jokes about eg the traffic cone on the Wellington monument didn’t go down well with this customer. English people are bored of endless anti English rhetoric and it needs to be left at home.

Despite terrible weather this tour is very interesting and our guide Lauren had huge and infectious enthusiasm and a wealth of interesting facts and fascinating stories.

Great visit of the city center. Our guide Sarah was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and friendly. Would totally recommend. It was a great introduction on the beautiful city of Glasgow and its history, I also did the street art walk and enjoyed that very much too.

We were very lucky to have a small group, just the four of us, which I suppose is one of the benefits of taking the tour mid-week in February. Our guide, Stephen, was wonderful, showing us various sights and telling some of his own personal anecdotes about his experiences in Glasgow. Unfortunately we had to cut the tour short as it overran the 1.5 hours and we had a bus to catch but rather than a criticism it’s a positive as the tour really wasn’t rushed and Stephen took plenty of time to talk at each of the stops and in between. The tour isn’t designed to be particularly in depth so I’d recommend it at the beginning of a trip to Glasgow to allow yourself to see the highlights then decide on which places you want to come back and spend a bit more time at on your own.

Stephen gave us a memorable tour. He was informative, charming and funny and painted a vivid picture of Glasgow's history and Glasgow life generally, particularly on the east side of the city. We can't recommend this tour highly enough and Stephen's enthusiasm for Glasgow was wonderful to see and made us see the city through a local's eyes. Great stuff.

We did a lovely loop of City Centre with Katrina. Architecture, history lessons, restaurant recommendations and prizes! All good fun!

Highly recommend this tour. Our guide Hope was friendly and very informative- we really saw and learnt a lot about this special city. It felt like walking with friends!

I have visitors coming from Spain in September..after reading the reviews I feel this may be a better way to see the city. I had thought about the City Sightseeing Bus. However will be looking into booking the walk. We are all in our mid to late 60's and quite fit, how long does the tour take and is there regular breaks?

Hi Catherine!
Our West End tour, as Tess stated lasts around an hour and a half-2 hours with regular stops to talk about the sights and a toilet/rest break in the middle. We've had groups of 60+ on the tour in the past and they haven't found it too strenuous!
Our City Centre tour lasts 2-2.5 hours again with regular stops to look and talk about the sights as well as two 15-20 minute breaks to rest or explore!
The walking pace for both tours is as fast or as slow as you'd like to really get a feel for the city and enjoy all Glasgow has to offer.
