We popped into Strata on our last evening in Glasgow after seeing their sign about their baos on the sidewalk. The buns that they serve are steamed white circular breads stuffed with a variety of delicious fillings priced at $6 pounds for two. We ordered the ones with crispy haddock and chicken with hoisin sauce. Both were tasty and the staff and ambiance were pleasant and friendly. It was a shame we found Strata just when we had to return home. The outer items on the menu sounded yummy!

Popped in for drink after late lunch .Friendy staff ,great service , liked the glasses of water being placed on tables , keeps you hydrated ! nice atmosphere .This was my second visit and will certainly go back again .

Stopped here for a few gin and tonics after a birthday lunch. Not my first visit and was much the same as always. Fairly good selection of drinks, food available if that is what you are looking for. Table service which is always good! Not too noisy so able to talk which is what we were looking for. Only negative is so dark inside - had to use phone to be able to read menu but as previously mentioned, not our first visit so it must be okay!!

Having last been to Strata many years ago when it was this awful generic hedkandi playing soul sucker of a place I had pretty much ignored its existence. But then seeing it has had a makeover popped in for a Saturday couple of pints and a snack. Its is now great. The delicious gratifying fluffy Bao buns (I had the haddock with sriracha mayo) were a steal at I think £5 and friendly laid back staff and a decent pint of Heineken. Nice ambience, decent indie tunes on. I didnt have a cocktail but the menu looked pretty creative and worth a try. Recommended!

Their buns pop up kitchen menu is unreal. Genuinely a flavour party in your mouth. So cheap but absolutely amazing. Would recommend to everyone to head over before the kitchen goes! Good service, friendly staff and their drinks menu will definitely have to be tried next time!

Been here a few times and watched the arrogant bar man with glasses on tonight roam around the bar with a bad attitude, felt sorry for the guy and girl he took drinks from for no reason and refused to serve them, won't be back in here guy spends more time chatting people up than serving!

Visited with an Itison voucher. Got a very nice welcome. The cocktails were fantastic, especially the cherry one, and the sharing board had a generous quantity of tasty eats including houmous, olives, and deep fried pickled vegetables which were unusual but nice. Helpful friendly service . Will definitely return.

Popped in for lunch the other day and it was great! I had the steak, cheese & onion sandwich which was amazing and so full of flavour. I asked if I could have the hand cut chips instead of the skinny fries and it was no problem. They were AMAZING! So so tasty. Great selection of drinks and cocktails, something for everyone on the food menu and the service was great and friendly.

Was given a itison voucher for strata but never got the chance to use it due to poor customer service, as everytime we went to book a table got told it was fully booked for the date we wanted to use it for . Also tried alternative dates to use it but got the same response from the boy on the phone who's words of ''It's your problem not mine take it up with itison'' make a great way of attracting new customers

I went, with a crowd of friends, for a birthday celebration. It was busy but service was generally good. The food was great value for money and my rating would have been higher if they had any decent ales. Had to resort to my default: Guinness.
