I had my hair cut by Jon (the owner) and he was brilliant. Straight away, he picked up on what I wasn't happy with about my hair and set about changing it in a positive way.
He has a great sense of humour and put me at ease about what he was going to achieve and communicated well about what he was doing.
We had a good laugh/reminisce about the 80s music that was playing (although I have a few years on him).
I didn't tell Jon that I was actually having a haircut for my wedding that weekend, but I walked out of there feeling confident and very happy ready for my big day.

From start to finish, I had such a good time. You're looked after as soon as you step in the door. John really has a gift in making you feel special and in safe hands. A genuine good guy/hairdresser who I believe the world needs more of! I have received a great haircut from him more than once and I'm looking forward to the next one. I've also received so many compliments on my new hairdo since then which is just a bonus, as I already feel amazing. I definitely recommend to get a haircut here, it's a special place with a human welcoming environment and fab tunes where I believe it would be impossible to not leave feeling better than when you arrived. Get booking! :-D

Having lost my confidence in high priced salons that failed to impress ...... I booked Jon and I am delighted !!! He gave a first class consultation and gave me a new look I am delighted with !!! OLD SKOOL AND FIRST CLASS !!!!!!

Jon is an excellent hairdresser and fine person to talk you during your cut. He designed a line of hair products that gave my hair some volume and shine in a natural and flattering way. His salon does not overinflate their rates like some do in the neighbourhood. Jon is very popular so be sure to book weeks in advance!

Lovely chatty and warm atmosphere, funky music, complimentary drinks. Even a shy person like myself enjoyed the experience. Most importantly, my hair looks amazing! Thought it was a very well priced cut.

Found this place completely by accident. I was looking for a new hairdresser as some of the other hairdressers were charging a lot extra to cover Covid cleaning.
Nothing wrong in that but I felt like a change anyway.
John gave me a great cut - his banter is second to none - and you need a laugh in these disturbing times. Felt great on leaving - will definitely be back.

Found by chance as been away from Glasgow for many years and struggling to find a non expensive hairdresser who listens. Walked in and was given a standby and it was owner John. Very welcoming and he actually recommended what I wanted. He understood my hair type and place set up very covid safe. Unpretentious and felt very at ease.... I will def use this as a regular salon. Can not recommend enough.... 💚
