Finished up in October 2016 due to other business commitments. The chocolate businesses involved are all still open to visit. Trip Advisor were advised but page is still up.

Fantastic time, Debbie was really nice and very knowledgeable. All the people we got to meet were lovely and welcoming. Highly recommended if you want to learn a little about Inverness and a lot about chocolate!

We had a massively fun tour of Inverness, eating every type of chocolate from buns through liqueurs to dipping. The guide was excellent, taking us to parts of Inverness we wouldn't normally see. Some wonderful tastes- and even managed to thoroughly impress two teenagers. Fantastic value, and thoroughly recommended.
A tip- don't eat beforehand!

We had a really lovely trip in Tuesday with Debbie on this tour. She was very friendly and took us to five different places where chocolate is a speciality. Debbie makes her own chocolate too so is very knowledge - she also took us to where she sells her wares but there was no pressure to buy.
The man in the Belgian chocolate shop inside the Victorian market was very passionate about his subject and we learned lots as well as sampling some very yummy fruity and whisky chocolates.
I would highly recommend taking a bottle of water with you as it is quite thirsty work especially the churros in So CoCo!
A good, fun activity to do with friends.
Highly recommend.

A great way to get away from chain stores. We were taken round 6 independent shops which were all lovely. A must for any chocoholic 🍫🍫🍫

We went on a glorious sunny afternoon in late August, and the only folk booked were myself and son. Debbie was warm and welcoming and we set off at a stroll, the streets were full of folk, warm and sunny. Our first stop was Harry Gow's which has a branch closer to us at home so we knew how good they are but we got tastes of some of the treats and one of each to take away for later (bring a bag for treats and things you buy) Another light stroll took us to a sweet shop where they had loads of jars as well as hand crafted sweets and more to taste (the sheer amount I ended up eating was enough to not need lunch!). By now my sons bag was getting filled with things we bought. Next stop was one of the most fascinating, when Lucas explained the history and background to fine chocolate. His passion is wonderful and his chocolates fab. Next down to the Inverness Coffee Roasting Company which deserves a mention of its own. This housed The Chocolate Place wares and Debbie had brought a selection for us to munch with our coffees (included in the tour) and a big squishy sofa which was welcome by then.
The final stop was to SoCoco which I have had my eye on for a while, sadly due to the sun being out and so many folk about the last venue was packed, and we ended our tour by getting our Churros to go (also included in the tour) and Debbie parted from us as we strolled back up the high street eating churros and wondering if there is such a thing as too much chocolate (no there isn't BTW).

A brilliant couple of hours walking through the quieter back streets sampling the best chocolate and coffee that Inverness has to offer. Our party of 20 (twice as large as would normally be accommodated on this tour - many thanks to Debbie for her patience and organisation skills) had a brilliant time sampling; millionaire shortbread; hand made whisky chocolates; locally roasted coffee; churros; and every milk and dark soft centred chocolate you can imagine. The walking is not too demanding (we had a wheelchair with us) and the shops we visited were owned by the nicest people who's passion and knowledge of their craft was an inspiration. Highly recommended for young and old - great stuff.
