i popped into this bar on a recent trip to Nairn, having seen it on Tripadvisor. Definitely a locals bar and when I walked in, rightly I was looked at by the folks as NOT LOCAL. I went to the bar and was served by a very friendly lady who put me at my ease. Within minutes a couple of the regulars had engaged me in conversation as they play golf at Nairn Dunbar golf course.
I was offered the opportunity to play on the pool table which as i am so bad i declined. More people spoke to me and I genuinely was made to feel very welcome. Hand shakes when I was leaving was appreciated and it's a place I'd recommend going to
Beer prices very reasonable indeed and as I say great staff.

Went here for a few drinks before a meal in the Classroom
Prices are better than anywhere else in Nairn and the people were friendly
Would have stayed a lot longer if the table wasn't booked in the restaurant !!

Up the stairs, and whilst the decor is dated, the pub, staff and punters were great. Welcomed with our 6 month old puppy in tow, we were told there's another dog in the pub and wpild he be ok. He was given treats and welcomed by all. We had popped in for a quick drink and were still there three drinks later !

Excellent bar with friendly staff and clientele. Good music, accessible TV. Special prices on particular drinks on particular days.

Place was banging as fourteen of us descended upon the place. The ales flew, that darts struck home and a few spirits were consumed.

A very local bar, probably the busiest town on a weekend night. Pool table, darts, music box, TVs, and lots of beer, of course. Gets crowded, but the bar service is efficient. All ages gather here. No better place to explore local flavors.

There isn't many pubs like this anywhere never mind Nairn. You access it off the street at the top of the high street and climbing the stairs you have no idea what awaits, a small long and narrow bar, with a good bar area to your right. The staff are excellent and the drink is as you old expect, cold and refreshing
The customers are nice and friendly and if they have music on, your in for a treat

This was our second visit to Nairn this year and our visits would never be complete without dropping into Uncle Bob's. Very friendly, well run bar with drinks at "sensible" prices. See you next year.

Not a big place, has a pool table, slot machine, juke box. Friendly Staff. Sells crisps, nuts, toasties, sometimes pies or sausage rolls on a Sat.
