‪Total tourist trap, but 100% worthwhile ‬

‪We enjoyed the Guinness Storehouse for the most part, it came highly recommended and was a great option for something to do indoors (out of the rain). It is obvious that this is a well-planned, money making machine. It is a huge 7-story building with tour buses arriving regularly. There are a lot of crowds, so bring your patience.

We arrived almost an hour before our timed entry slot but the attendants were very helpful and let us in. When you enter, there is a place to store you're small luggage or large bags. The tour is self guided, so you can really spend as little or as much time as you want. We were there for about 2 hours and would recommend this as a minimum.

If you receive a drink ticket to the Gravity Bar, it is on the top (7th) floor. **Pro tip** Take the elevator (lifts) to the top and grab your "free" beer. Then take the lifts back down and start your tour with a drink in hand.

If you finish your drink by the 5th floor then you can stop at the bar, enjoy some live music and give your feet a break. When you get back to the Gravity Bar, spend time observing the 360° view of all of Dublin.

Don't be shy asking if someone is leaving if you see that their glasses are empty and you see them standing up to leave. This is how we managed to get 2 tables!  ‬

‪Always a nice place to visit and have your free pint‬

‪I came here again on June 12/23 after 7 years, I love this place and I have been here twice before and wanted to come back again.

I had to book this place through my HOHO Dublin pass link because this one required an advanced booking so I did it for the June 12 at 10am, so when I waited in line someone finally came around and scanned my pass and I made way into the building and at the front of the line there were people looking at the tickets but this lady told me that something about my ticket that I do not recall her questioning me about it so when I talked to a manager she tells me this person was new and did I have me ticket scanned at the front door, I said yes that is all I needed to just walk in.

I went through the 7 floors that tell you details about the process of how Guinness was started when Arthur signed a 9000 year contract to how the beer is made to the ingredients and many other things to read about and see while taking the self tour through the 7 floors then end you’re the tour at the top in the Gravity Bar for a pint of Guinness or also called “the black stuff”.

This place is designed in the shape of a pint glass which is very cool and I never actually knew that.

I would come again for another pint even though I don’t drink but because I like Guinness I had a pint this time.
I ended up buying a bunch of the Guinness infused toffee and other treats which is the best.

‪Self-guided tour is interesting, but includes a lot of walking. Crowded, even on a Wednesday afternoon in September.
Tasting rooms were good.
It's a shame that you need to pay for full tour to enter Gravity bar (which is nice, but very busy).‬

‪Es un paseo interesante, no lo recomiendo si no son fans de la cerveza. El roof top esta muy bien, pasamos un lindo momento degustando una guiness en el lugar. faltan asientos. ‬

‪Great day out! My daughter and I booked a tour in late August. We both enjoyed seeing how the lovely black stuff is made, and the bar at the top with 360° views of the city is amazing! Our tour included a pint of Guinness, and even the 22yo liked it (with blackcurrant syrup, but still!) Lots of spots to take great pics, and excellent gift shop for the unlucky buggers back home who didn't get to visit. 😄 You can also get a ride back to the city by horse and cart afterwards, if you so desire!‬

‪Nice self-guided tour in a huge building; gets crowded‬

‪We had pre-booked online for a 14:45 entrance on a Saturday. It is a long, but enjoyable walk from the Temple Bar area, but you can also take taxis or horse drawn carriages. We arrived early, around 14:20, but were waived in. We were given a short introduction in a large group, then proceeded on the one-way, self-guided tour. The tour is well done with exhibits for history and the brewing process as well as barrel making and marketing campaigns. The Storehouse is huge and modern with lots of music, some interactive exhibits as well as reading exhibits. There is a tasting room (included with basic tour) where there are really cool sensory exhibits and you get a shot glass of Guiness and taught the proper way to drink it. At the end of the tour, you end up at the top of the building in the Gravity Bar where you get your one pint of Guinness that is also included. There are excellent views of the city. The Gravity Bar was extremely crowded late afternoon, though we eventually got lucky enough to get a table. There is no food at the Gravity Bar, but there are plenty of food options on other floors as well as restrooms and, of course, a large gift shop. Overall, we were there about 2 hours and enjoyed the experience.‬

‪For all the hype, I have to say I was a bit disappointed. It was totally a self-guided tour, and a bit confusing at that. Just walking around (and up) the facility reading the different displays. Very little multimedia and nothing that you really saw in making the brew. I've been on many tours and this was just a museum exhibit as far as I'm concerned. A bit misleading that you could have had a cheaper tour without the pint of Guinness at the end. Would have done that if I had known....not really one to be drinking that early in the day. (we had the first tour time)‬

‪We really enjoyed our day at the Storehouse! So much fun and things to see from start to finish. We especially enjoyed our free pint at the top and the view was stunning of Dublin! We also did the Learn How To Pour a Pint of Guinness. Great fun with that! The gift shop was amazing!‬
