A wonderful place to visit and very worthy memorial. These gardens are an absolute gem. The 4 OPW staff who take such wonderful care of them deserve their own medal. The dedication and passion of the OPW who conducts the tour is very evident.

Really nice gardens to visit beautiful flowers. It's a really nice place to walk around and it's nice to be beside the river.

Spent a hour in the gardens while waiting for our gaol tour. Nice place to find a comfortable bench and enjoy the quite beauty.

It took me some weeks to come here because I wasn't sure it was worth it, but it is! Actually, it's very small, but the place is beautiful for how greatly designed it is. You will the at the other side of the Phoenix Park crossing the Liffey River and see lots of birds, swans and even people rowing in their kayaks. Nice place to chill and sit in the gardens area or in the grass near the river.

The Irish National War Memorial Park is a large, stunning park that is definitely worth the visit to Inchcore / Kilmainham. The rose gardens are so lovely - the entire park is lovely and so well maintained. It's a massive place and so peaceful. I read that it is one of the top War memorial parks in Europe. Do not hesitate a visit. I felt fortunate to stay in Inchicore for a week, so I enjoyed walking around the park daily with my son and two dogs.

The War Memorial Gardens are near the centre of Dublin, the are quite beautiful. Some 300,000 Irishmen served in World War I for a variety of armies, including Great Britain. Of these, 49,400 died. The War Memorial was surrounded by controversy and was finally inaugurated in 1938, when the clouds or war were gathering again.
