Wow! I can't say enough about what a wonderful time we had with Michael Fox from Day Tour Dublin. He took us to Wicklow and went out of his way to find the estate that my sister-in-law's ancestors worked on back in the early 1800s. We also used him for a day-long tour of various sites in the Boyne Valley. So much to see! He did everything he could to be sure we saw all the sites we wanted to see and was an excellent guide/driver. We thoroughly enjoyed the two tours that we did with Micheal. Highly recommend him!

I heartedly recommend Michael Fox and Boyne Valley Tours. A native of the area he is full of information and lesser known facts about the area. We were met at our hotel door and returned there at end of day after enjoying our day and being driving in a clean comfortable auto. Michael was able to adjust the itinerary due to weather concerns which we greatly appreciated. Our tour was New Grange as modified.

Michael conducted a wonderful tour! He has so much information about this part of Ireland and can answer so many questions. We saw New Grange, Knowth, and 1,000 year old Celtic crosses. He made all of the arrangements and was a very good driver. I highly recommend hm.

If you are interested in immersing yourself in the beauty of the landscape and discovering the facinating historical backstory of Boyne Valley, during a private, personalized tour guided by a very, very knowledgeable guide...... this is the tour for you! Michael Fox is an amazing resource. What you see and do in an 7-8 hour day would be equal to having to take 3 other tours ...and you still wouldn't see it all. Make you life easy and have the best day tour of your life....book Michael!

i wanted to visit places several that were not on a usual one day tour. Loughcrew and Rathcroghan. Michael got me there and more… stopping at sites along the way i did not know about. He was generous with his knowledge and took care that everything was prepared. He brought several pairs of boots so that I had good foot ware for “ cave of the cats” . i recommend him highly

We had a wonderful day tour with Michael to see Boyne Valley sites. He worked with us ahead of time to coordinate pick up from the airport and drop off afterwards and even tailored our trip to things we were interested in. The car was extraordinarily clean and he is a good driver. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to book him again for another tour when we come back to Ireland in the future!

During our Ireland trip we took the Boyne Valley Tour with Michael Fox. His knowledge of the ancient sites was impressive and informative. Having a personal guide like Michael was invaluable, allowing us to see more in a short period of time. This was one of our favorite days of the trip.

Michael is a wonderful, knowledgeable guide, who goes far beyond the call of duty to make sure that you have a great experience. One of the best guided tours I have ever taken.

Michael was our private driver/guide for 2 awesome day tours to the Boyne Valley, home of the 5000-year-old UNESCO World Heritage passage tombs at Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth. Michael is extremely knowledgeable, an engaging conversationalist, a stellar driver, and totally competent as a tour guide. Plus he has an innate understanding beyond mere words of how sacred these sites are. Michael started out as our guide and ended up as our friend. I cannot recommend Boyne Valley Tours highly enough.

It was a very rewarding experience regarding the pre-historical and then Celtic beginnings of Ireland. The guide, Brian, is a true professional presenting a deep and exhaustive knowledge. His narrative was at the moments a little bit too fast, given the fact that many participants were from non-English speaking zones.

Day tours from Dublin to the surrounding areas such as the Boyne Valley or Wicklow are typically 8 hours. Day tours to further away places are longer. Start times are flexible.
