The flower pot is an good pub which looks small on the outside but has a large interior and large beer garden. A wonderful selection of cask ales and friendly bar team

The flowerpot is an incredible pub with a wide variety of ales for everyone. To top it off, they have live music on every weekend ranging from cover bands to folk acts. A must go to pub im derby !

Visited last night to watch Fleetwood Bac who I have waited ages for. The set was superb as mist are, but the venue was packed like sardines, gettin in and out took 5 minutes and I gave up after the break as the temerature was unbearable befiore I got as far as the bar. Nice improvements in the rest of the pub, but two aicon uints for 250 people is a total joke. I won't visit again until you improve that.

Been here a few times now and I must say I love it, the staff are nice the people are nice too also haven't seen a bad band yet, so 4 stars why only 4 because I've not tryed the food yet so I'll let you know how that goes, plussI'm always a bit dubious about leaving 5 stars lol, I would like to know however can you take children in my daughter is 7 and desperately wants to come with me one time,

Visited the flower pot for the 2nd time with my partner this weekend to see ACDC UK tribute band. Travelled from York.
Venue inside ok, most people ok, only thing i have to say is I think door staff should judge their customer clientele a lot better as i was the victim of an unprovoked attack in the face by a violent 7ft prostitute woman.
Causing band to stop playing whilst staff sorted the woman out.
I am a customer visiting from another area and i now have injuries to my face.
Not really what you want when paying good money for a night out.

Excellent!!! Just excellent food, excellent staff and really excellent prices. Went on the Nepalese night and this is just amazing and the staff are brilliant they fully added to my families night.

Brilliant hotel, room was so homely and cosy, pub itself is a nice local with plenty of character.staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back

Have to leave 5 stars to Mary Jane, what a happy, jolly positive lady, really nice to see someone so happy at there work. She really makes a great atmosphere. Asset to any company

A great venue for a packed gig with appreciative fans enjoying two solid hours of excellent music performed with an abundance of enthusiasm and energy.

I've been going in the flowerpot for many years and it's always been ok. This changed last week due to a terrible experience caused by a man who the other staff told me was the Supervisor.
We purchased a couple of ciders and on our first sip looked at each other and frowned, it tasted disgusting, a chemical type taste which left a horrible taste as we swallowed it.
We pointed this out to the young lady who served us who after asking us a few questions agreed to replace the drinks.
We were then approached by 'the Supervisor' who was rude and aggressive, telling us that there was nothing wrong with the drinks and asked us if we were payng for the replacements, when we said no he stormed off uttering something under his breath.
I'm a frequent pub goer and in my 30+years of doing so I can only think of 2 other occasions where I have taken a pint back to the bar.
I was embarrassed by the fact that I had taken a couple of visitors from out of town to this pub on my recommendation only for this to be ruined by this appalling example of customer service.

Through Ticketline co uk you can find the events at The Flower Pot. Starting times seem to vary between 20.45 and 21.30.
