‪Won't be going again, tehcnial issues with the lane runied the experience‬

‪ذهبت لعلاج مع الأطفال. لقد أعطيت حارة 1. في بداية اللعبة الأولى (التي دفعناها مقابل 2) حصلت ابنتي على إضراب لكن لم يتم تسجيله وتجمد الممر وكان علينا أن نجعل شخصًا ما يعمل على إصلاحه. لقد فعلوا ذلك بعد أن أخبرناهم في النهاية ، لكن الإضراب لم يتم تسجيله. ثم حصلت زوجتي على إضراب بعد عدة دورات ثم تجمد الممر مرة أخرى واضطررنا لإحضار شخص ما لإصلاحه ولم يتم تسجيل الإضراب. قال الشخص الذي قام بإصلاحه ، والذي كان مفيدًا للغاية ، لإعلامها ما إذا كان قد حدث مرة أخرى. . . . عزيزي القارئ ، ما رأيك حدث في المرة القادمة التي حصل فيها أحدنا على إضراب؟ أكانت. . أ) تم تسجيل الإضراب وذهبنا بسرور في لعبتنا كن) لم يتم تسجيل الإضراب وتجمد الممر وكان علينا إعادة الشخص مرة أخرى إذا أجبت أ) فأنت على حد سواء متفائل إلى الأبد وهو أمر جميل ولا يمكنك تحديد الأنماط (لا تفكر في مهنة في مجال التحكم في الطيران). لأن يكون هو ما حدث. وكان أنا الذي حصل على الإضراب. أنا في القمامة حتى أحصل على إضراب ولم يتم تسجيله مما جعلني أشعر بالجنون قليلاً ، لذا تعهدت عندما عدت إلى المنزل أنني سأستخدم شيئًا يمكنني فعله جيدًا (كتابة الكلمات) لإخبار تجربتي. أخيرًا بعد هذا الحدوث مرة أخرى (4 x في المجموع) في أعماق مباراتنا الثانية ، توصلنا إلى تبديل الممرات إلى زقاق عاملي ، ولكن بحلول ذلك الوقت شعرنا بخيبة أمل كبيرة من التجربة برمتها ، لذا فقد أنهينا لعبتنا وتراجعنا. بالتأكيد إذا كانت هناك مشكلة فنية في الحارة في أول علامة على ذلك ، فأنت تقدم تبديلًا للناس ، والثاني تفعل ذلك بالتأكيد. بخلاف ذلك ، يتضايق الأشخاص ويتركون لك تعليقات فظيعة على مرشد الرحلة (عن طريق نوع من الإجراءات الشافية) ، وبعد ذلك يتعين على مدير من Hollywood Bowl الحضور هنا والرد على مراجعتي الرهيبة مع شيء على غرار: "نحن نأسف لوجود مشكلات فنية في لعبة البولينج الخاصة بك وفي هذه المناسبة ، نأسف لعدم حصولك على تجربة جيدة. هذا نادر للغاية وسنضمن عدم حدوث ذلك مرة أخرى ".‬

‪We took our granddaughters to bowl this afternoon, whilst we all enjoyed the bowling, the shortage of staff makes it all so much harder, however, the worst experience was visiting the toilets, they were appalling, extreme lack of hygiene, the worst I have ever seen.‬

‪Arrived at 14.10 for a 14.30 slot. The place was heaving! Was told by the young girl that our slot was 15.40, clearly not what I booked and had email confirmation for.
She very abruptly stated that she had no lanes available and that we would have to wait and gave us a buzzer to indicate a lane was free.
We see many people that had come in after us get a lane so after half an hour went back to her to say if was going to be much longer then we would like a refund and leave. Her response knocked me for six. She said you’ve only been waiting 8 minutes and you can’t have a refund. I asked her to watch her attitude towards paying customers and asked her to get a manager. She carried on being rude and had an awful smirk on her face like she was getting a kick out of the confrontation. Even my husband intervened and he never complains about anything.
Eventually the Deputy Manager Nick came and offered us options but by that time we just wanted to get out and asked for a refund to be arranged, which will take up to 2 weeks!
Not impressed. Awful front of house staff. Diner staff non existent. Not cleaned to satisfaction.‬

‪Went for my grandsons birthday as his sister was self isolating and we couldn’t visit. It was his first time and he loved it but……. We booked in advance and requested on their and when we got there we’re amazed by the number of people not wearing a mask. It said on the website because of COVID:
Reduced numbers inside. It was heaving.
Book in advance. The queue for non booking was huge with no social distancing.
Bowling balls wouldn’t be shared. Well ours were shared with the people in the next lane.
Maximum of 6 people! There was one lane with 10 at least again not wearing masks.

Absolutely horrendous place. Never, ever again‬

‪Gents toilets are disgusting, men's urinals look like they haven't been cleaned for weeks. Stinks awful, no way anyone is checking these. Don't let your kids use them unsupervised, they are filthy.‬

‪Awful place, the staff have no control over anything that's going on, 15 minutes for food means nothing to them, and they seem to be incapable of not putting ice into drinks when you're asked. The food is awful but the way, it's all frozen Crap, and the manager lady is like a thin vicky pollard, she won't smile, it's like speaking to a brick. An emotionless brick.

And don't get me started on the girls who work there, the guys that worked there all seemed lovely and to be putting in max effort, but the blonde girl libby had no clue what was going on, she was fast enough taking orders, when she'd got to us, but we had to seek her out after waiting 10 minutes with the food/drink light on, TWICE!

If you want to let your kids run around and almost knock people over, bring them here by all means, but if you're older without kids, just go to all star lanes, cause this place is a cesspool.‬

‪We took 85 colleagues from work on a trip to Hollywood Bowl and it was a great success. Booking the corporate package which initially seems quite expensive you do really get good value for money with 2 games of bowling, a drink for each player and mountains of food at the end. We ran this as a competition between the departments throwing a bottle of wine in for the best on each lane as well as the King Pin & Wooden Spoon prizes. Leoni & Amy specifically looked after our group superbly with the DJ doing his stuff to make it such a success. Lots of fun, cheering, laughter & a bit of competitiveness against the bosses and its something that anyone can enjoy. Thanks Hollywood Bowl on behalf of all from CW Berry Ltd.....see you next year‬

‪Two things that have been going on for several months now so i can only assume they're deliberate. Relating to the arcade games. Get a strip of 10-20 the 20 tickets, report it. They will then point you to a machine that is counting properly but just watch if anyone actually comes to look at the reported machine. Also, if you have young kids that are really looking forward to trading in tickets for something - ask up front if they have that thing in stock. Most of the top prizes we've asked for were not and i was told by a staff member that some of them hadn't been in stock for weeks and probably wouldnt be in stock again. However she also said that management won't let them take out of stock items out the display cabinet. They must be left in there to tease kids into begging their parents into playing more to win tickets. But in the end its just some 5p sweets and half-length slinkies junk they get. I thought it was just travelling carnivals that scammed punters? But this is aimed at young children. And if the management at Hollywood Bowl Bolton think it's "just some kids and a few pounds" - they haven't had to try and explain to a 5 year old with learning disabilities that they simply dont have any of the three prizes she wanted. Not that she made a mistake and is a loser so they refused to give her her prize. Looking back over the past several months there's at least 20 kids i've taken (nieces, nephews, friends of my daughter, etc.) that i've ended up having to promise them something nice after leaving Hollywood Bowl to cheer them up. Yes, after blowing money on their machines you will likely end up having to try and cheer your kids up when the machine swallows their tickets and they get a little pile of sweets and yo-yos that break the moment they leave instead of the amazing wireless headphones or bluetooth speaker they expected for their 3000 tickets. ‬

‪Our family of 7 included a 4 year old. Great fun had by all, we paid for two games which kept us entertained and busy for about two and a half hours.

We bought drinks and a sharing platter of food. The food was poor quality but adequate, I think the standard could be greatly improved.

I'm glad we pre booked online as it was very busy when we got there but we did not have to queue. We went straight through to the pre booked desk as priority and then taken straight to our lane. The booking staff were friendly and efficient as were there waiting staff for food and drinks. In all the service was excellent from start to finish.

We had a great time and would definitely go again. Thank you.‬

‪Went for a treat with the kids. We were given lane 1. Early in the first game (we had paid for 2) my daughter got a strike but it was not recorded and the lane froze and we had to get somebody to fix it. They did after we finally got them to come, but the strike was not recorded. Then my wife got a strike a few turns later and the lane froze again and we had to get somebody to fix it and the strike was not recorded. The person fixing it, who was very helpful, said to let her know if it happened again....

Dear reader, what do you think happened the next time one of us got a strike? Was it..

a) the strike was recorded and we jubilantely went about our game
b) the strike was not recorded and the lane froze and we had to get the person again

If you answered a) then you are both eternally optimistic which is lovely and you can't really spot patterns (do don't think about a career in flight control).

Because B is what happened. And it was me who got the strike. I am rubbish at bowling so to get a strike and it not be recorded made me a little mad, so I vowed when I got back home I would use something I can do well (writing words) to make tell of my experience.

Finally after this happening once again (4x in total) deep into our second game we got to switch lanes to a working alley, but by then we were pretty disillusioned with the whole experience so we finished our game and slunk out.

Surely if a lane has technical issues on the first sign of that you offer to switch people, and on the second one you do that definitely . Otherwise people just get annoyed and leave you terrible reviews on trip advisor (by way of a cathartic kind of action) and then a manager from Hollywood Bowl has to come on here and reply to my terrible review with something along the lines of: 'we are sorry that there were technical issues with your bowling game and on this occasion we are sorry you did not have a good experience. This is very rare and we will ensure it does not happen again".‬

‪We had 2 games, a few issues with the lanes but quickly solved. We had snacks delivered to our lanes, then had a buffet.

Buffet consisted of pigs in blankets, mini toad in the hole, stuffing balls, hotdogs, chicken wings, beefburgers, chicken burgers, potato croquets and chicken dippers. All were freshly cooked and hot to the table.‬
