We spent a good few hours at the farm today in the sunshine! 🌞 ☀️ Our little ones loved the Rex rabbits & the donkeys plus the tractors 🚜 they played on too!
The food was lovely in the Cafe and plenty of high chairs for the little one’s!

Environment is suitable for both adults and children. Staff were available to offer insight of the place, very welcoming and warm.

I had a nice time out with my friend and our little ones at the farm. They particularly loved patting the rabbit and guinea pigs. The cafe was great too and was impressed with how clean it was.

This is an excellent day out! There is a big variety of animals and they are all so friendly and cute. The farm is such good value for money. The cafe is lovely and the menu has great choice. The play park and facilities are brilliant. We got to feed Guinea pigs and rabbits up close. We also fed most of the animals with the bags of animal feed you can purchase. I had such a wonderful time here. Myself and my boyfriend love going to farms and this is our favourite one.

Things have changed again since we last visited.
The ferrets are new but were inside their cage not in their pen so we couldn't really see them.
It looks like a tortoise pen was being built next to an existing one.
Things that need to be improved - the paths do not flow, there should be access from the rabbits and guinea pig area to the big outdoor goats etc. As it's a long walk around for little legs and adults with limited mobility.
I don't think adults should be allowed on the bouncing pillows unless they are retrieving a child. My niece got flung off the under 5s pillow by an adult who was on it with an older child.
Food in the cafe was nice and the new plant nursery was well stocked.
We preferred the old Thrift Farm when the focus was on the animals and not on the play equipment.

Amazing place, beautiful animals and lots of fun. Only there should be a toilet near to the play area.

The gentleman that served us really set the mood of the experience, he was warm and very nice. We moved first looked at the sheep and rabbits then the goats, we moved into to where the other goats are and it was feeding time. The lady was very informative and was lovely! We went to play on the very good play area which my youngest and oldest enjoyed. We went back to the goats and the cars that are outside. We also went into the cafe. All staff we saw where lovely!

A lovely day out for Grandpa and two grandsons 9 and 7. Lots to see and do. Great play areas and welcoming cafe with good service and fare. Good to see new things since our last visit in October. An excellent day out. Thank you.

Ok for a day out but a little on the expensive side for what's there. Kids enjoyed the jumping pillow and the petting but as I said expensive for what you get.

Hello, thank you for your review. We're sorry that you feel we are a little on the expensive side. We do try to keep our prices low so we can offer great value for our visitors. We really hope you managed to see all that we have to offer including all our animals in the paddocks and in the animal barn, daily animal petting, outdoor play areas, zip wire, bouncing pillows, sand and water play and ride-on cars. If you visited over the summer, hopefully, you would have seen all the extra activities including our new sensory play, messy play area, panning for gold, and barefoot walk. We also have daily egg collecting too.
We really do hope that you will come back and visit us again. Maybe for our Halloween Hocus Pocus event for October half term? Every child (paying child) receives a FREE pumpkin, plus there’s a Pumpkin Patch, Pumpkin Carving, Hocus Pocus Recipe Trail, Halloween Dig where you’ll win a prize, Spooktacular Crafts, and Pumpkin Hoopla, It’s going to be so much fun!

This was a return visit, Thrift Farm continues to improve. The bouncy maze went down well, the children love feeding the animals. Panned for gold and exchanged in the shop. We'll be back.
