This was a small local museum in the local library.About one third of the space was devoted to the Royal family.There is some information about local history.

So I am very annoyed
I pop in here now and again. The staff are usually very nice however today I asked for my card number and wow the new lady who dealt with me was beyond rude long grey hair with fringe. It seemed like she really didn’t want to be there but also her whole customer service and face was off. Even when I said please and thank you for my print out her body langue was and face was foul. I am not sure maybe she is going through some thing in life but those manners should not be on front desk. I am a very polite manned young lady who will continue to have respect for everyone however you can not expect respect if you don’t give the same energy. I shall avoid her service from now on. I hope others were able hold their tongue the way I did today.

There is plenty of (pay and display) parking close by too. This museum is small but free to enter. For such a small, borough museum it is packed with interest and features exhibits of local history and natural history. I encourage return visits as there are frequently themed, temporary visiting exhibitions too.

This is a small Museum that really does do its best. Staff are absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable and very patient with children. Could do with some investment but well worth a visit

It’s years since I went into the museum and it was just as I remembered it and felt like going back in time. Interesting to see some history.

Mi dispiace dover dare un voto così basso.. interessante il poco che c’è, ma è veramente troppo poco per essere chiamato museo. Probabilmente sono entrata io con aspettative troppo alte. In massimo mezz’ora si riesce a visitare tutta l’unica sala (piccola) presente

This is a lovely local Museum that is a pleasure to visit. The staff are incredible, knowledgeable, pleasant and patience of a saint with the nosey little people, I had with me.

Small museum alongside a very fine looking library. There are also some fine independent shops and a good theatre in the area.

Visited here on Saturday quite sup riced with the amount of small things but a lot of history inside
