Stephen Oliver Gallery is lovely, obviously a very gifted artist. From original pieces to framed prints his work is gorgeous. Copies of his work exist on fridge magnets and cards starting at a few pounds.
Owner also does alot for the local community.

We were looking for a painting and stumbled across this purely by chance,,,
Most of the works are vibrant, with a wide range of tastes catered for and some great examples of brushwork.
Stephen also does commissions.
After a few minutes having a look we stumbled across Aperture V and bought it instantly - absolutely love it and having a one-off from a local artist is great.
Always check the website and pop in there whenever in the area now.

Stephen is a very friendly welcoming host who loves to chat with everyone about their work - no matter their age or media they're working on. I'm a rock painter and hider and visit the rock exchange table at least once a month to see the beautiful rocks left by locals and Stephen always had some inspiration or hints n tips to help us out. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing painting. So much love and time goes into each and every painting. Artist is always happy to great you and chat to the children. He has a space for painted rocks which my children absolutely love going to see all the different rocks. We often swap our painted ones for ones on the table to either hide or keep. Always so welcoming.

We had a wander round this little art gallery in Dartford while staying with our family in Kent. The gallery is located within the Orchard Centre and is wheelchair accessible.
We were pleasantly surprised to see so many excellent paintings on display by the artist, Stephen Oliver. We enjoyed looking at all his work and went round at our own pace. At no time did we feel under any pressure to buy, although most of the paintings on display were reasonably priced. There was a very pleasant and helpful chap in the gallery who explained some of the paintings to us.
The gallery is well worth a visit if you are in Dartford.

Had a simply delightful visit to Stephen's gallery, I must say that I admire his efforts very much. Regardless of the time that he must devote to his Art he still takes the time to greet viewers, perfect strangers often, and make them feel as welcome as an old friend. I'm gladdened to see this talented addition to Dartford and wish him every possible success during these economically challenging times. Simply excellent, I hope to return soon.

I lived in Dartford from 2008 to 2016. Since Stephen opened in 2012 I was a regular visitor to the gallery I would call it my fix for the day and would look in ore at Stephens work and always had my favourites, two of which I happily now own and they are now in my new home and my mums home.Looking at Stephens work it creates imagination as each person can depict what they think the painting is telling us.Stephen has his own style and that style is something you must see and you may even see Stephen in action.A much loved gallery I deeply miss and a great inspirational artist that has also brought something different to the Dartford community and involved everyone.

The Stephen Oliver Studio & Gallery relocated to a smaller space within the Orchard's Shopping Centre, this makes for a much quieter viewing experience. Being within the centre and on one floor, the gallery is wheelchair accessible and easy to get to, with plenty of parking options available. As well as being a visual treat, this is also a work and sales space, with many paintings available for purchase, ranging in price from £80 - £1,200. The Gallery and Studio is open to the public 10am until 4pm, Thursday to Sunday, staying open an extra hour on Saturday. There are no facilities within the gallery, however the centre's toilets are located just around the corner. On the downside it is a very small gallery and artworks on show are often sold, so you have to visit often to ensure you don't miss something, but being so conveniently located, that isn't a problem.

When shopping in Dartford, a pop in to this lovely gallery is a must.
A great collection of paintings, very friendly artist, child friendly, and so much community spirit.
Our daughter now has a lovely collection of free art and a couple of beautiful prints to decorate our home.

Stephen Oliver is such a likeable talented man it is always a pleasure to visit his gallery to look at his work and to have a chat with him. A friend of mine who lives in Newcastle regularly visits Dartford especially to check out Stephen's new work of which currently he has three paintings of Stephens and I have one. If you have not visited the gallery it is a must
