Great stop off before Harry Potter world. Staff are great and beautiful blossom tree in the garden. Regulars need to watch their language with young kids around though 😊

Thought would try it after a refurb, yeah watching the game as advertised and the DJ starts up, just what I call trying to keep your punters. This is after 70 mins of the game. So in my opinion if you want to watch a game on BT sport or even Sky sports dont go to the Hammer In hand if you want to listen to the commentary as well

Nice local, attentive friendly regular barstaff and welcoming local punters. Saloon bar casual area with Darts & TV's x2 playing football or Music channels - Public bar carpeted, Lounge seating, Pool, x2 TV's Football/Popular Sporting events & Jukebox (Free on occasions). Both bars have fruit machines and 1 has general knowledge quiz machine. Reasonable Garden and smoking area. 1 child's swing and slide, children welcome until early evening. They have regular free events, vocalists, bands, BBQ,s, Fundays & Fundraising. The lounge is a very good venue for private hire re. Birthday, Anniversary, Christening celebrations or Funeral wakes. Only negative is Toilets although clean enough could do with a bit of modernisation, hand dryer is pathetic.

Very friendly pub and played really good music. It is in needs updating and a really good clean. Shame!

Comfortable relaxed pub. Sky Sports, Darts, Pool, Jukebox and regular disco nights or live music entertainment. Food is not available just bar snacks. Great venue for private parties with Shared Garden/Smoking area. Friendly bar staff and regulars. All ages welcome. If the weather is nice there is a couple of swings & small slide for the children and occasionally weather permitting a Bouncy castle. Come on down...

Came last week to a friend's birthday bash. Great welcome, slick bar staff. Huge spread, plenty of decorations and a very good singer. Ample parking. Just right. Had a couple in the separate public bar. more modern but an affable bunch of locals. Only slight misgiving. No proper beer. Had heard they sometimes have Tribute but very rarely. Always a pity when an otherwise half decent pub can't do that one necessary thing.

We came here tonight for a biggish family party. We booked a few weeks before, taking over the amply big lounge for the whole evening, for the price of two extra bat staff. Everyone was very helpful. No problem reorganizing the furniture, setting up our own singer with his kit and laying our food. More than a hundred happy punters. No hassle or pressure about anything. Entirely satisfactory experience and successful night.
