We had a fantastic time learning to cook a range of curries which had been based on what we might like! A very memorable experience being in a curry house kitchen and learning some of the tricks of the trade, and hopefully being able to creat some curries at home! Maz is a lovely man and a great teacher, would absolutely recommend!

Fantastic way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon sheltering from storm Beet.
Maz was a great host, friendly, very knowledgeable and informative helpful made us all feel very welcome.
The time flew by and we ended up tasting the fruits of our labour, which thanks to Maz was so delicious.

Such a fun and knowledgable experience! We have learned absolutely loads, and we had such a blast with Maz. Such a kind and funny gent! We will be coming back for another lesson and the restaurants!

This experience was everything I hoped it would be and more. The food tasted out of this world!! Maz was a great teacher who simplified everything and made you feel you can replicate it all at home. Thankyou :)

A brilliant course. Maz was really personable and adapted the course for our taste in Indian food. We thoroughly enjoyed and feel we have the skills to be able to do this at home

Maz is an excellent teacher! Very passionate and extremely knowledgeable.
As a group of four, we learnt so much, filled with fun, food and great top tips!
Highly recommend to anyone with a taste for Indian cooking as you will be buzzing after lessons from Maz!

What an amazing cookery class. Max was so enthusiastic and informative, made the learning fun and easy. And we got to eat the amazing food we cooked.

Are you able to choose different dishes to cook within the group? To cater for spice preferences/ dietary requirements...

Yes. Three dishes are selected which are based on the group's likes or dislikes. Maz only does a maximum group of 4. We found it really easy to select dishes which everyone was happy with. Regardless you walk away with the skills and knowledge to attempt any number of curries at home!

Hi Maz, my husband is quite skilled on making curries but I'm stuck on a birthday gift for him. Is it £50 per person weekdays? Is it just basics or will he learn new skills? Thanks

It is £50 per person on weekdays (monday, tuesday or wednesday) Hopefully he will learn new skills and if he is a good cook I might learn a few of him too!

Hi Lee,
Thank you for your enquiry.
Our cookery classes are held Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday from 11.30am to 2.30pm with a minimum of 2 and max of 4 guests.
It's a step by step hands on experience. All ingredients are supplied and guests get to make 3 bespoke curries from scratch and of course enjoy what they prepared for lunch.
Please call 01217051020 after 5.30pm and speak to Habid or provide your contact number and we will be happy to discuss available dates or voucher purchases.

Hi, my mom is looking to get my dad cookery lessons for a christmas present. do you do vouchers to purchase and then he can book a class at a later date? also when do the classes take place as he is a teacher so is limted to when he can go. Many thanks, Clare

Thank you for your enquiry. Yes we do vouchers and you can purchase them by calling the restaurant on 01217051020. We will be happy to take payment over the phone and sending them by post.
