Last night we all had a Fantastic night out at Lady Lane Wharf. The staff are really accommodating. The entertainment was impressive. I would really Recommend a night out here.

Visited this lovely little pub Saturday Evening for a fabulous meal. We had Steak, Mushroom and Merlot Pie with mash and peas also Steak and Kidney. The pies were very tasty and not sure how the mash was done but it was delicious. Liz was the lady in the kitchen cooking, she is a credit to you also there was a lovely young man serving the tables. The bar staff were also friendly. Excellent service.

What a little gem. The atmosphere is very friendly. The staff will do anything,just ask. The food is fresh also on a summers day its the place to go with the views. Noel the bar man is very accomadating. With a good science of houmour

What a lovely little gem!
Lovely position by the canal , you can look at passing boats- while also sitting out in the garden.
The food was fab.. lovely homemade food that tasted great and a superb price for adult Sunday lunch £7.50!
Includes a lovely pub and atmosphere with really friendly regulars !

Have enjoyed many evenings here - friendly locals - usually good bands playing - avoid karaoke as hate it! But the band tonight 'thirsty work' were utter rubbish the oldish woman keyboard singer murdered every song and the lead singer wasn't much better - best avoided!!! the madness tribute two weeks ago however were really good..if you want to visit do but be aware parking is a nightmare .. drinks not too expensive ...

This is not a fancy place but it is very friendly with good food at a reasonable price. So good to go somewhere where you are made welcome and is supported by regulars, who help create a great atmosphere. You can take a walk along the canal and enjoy some good food as well. We enjoyed a lovely fish and chips - well cooked, tasty, good portions and hot - what more can you ask.

we live 5mins drive from this pub so when we had visitors for the weekend we decided to eat at the Warf. We placed our order them waited and waited and waited one hour and 15mins later the food arrived. It was bought to us by an elderly looking lady who we could only assume was not only the waitress but also the cook. The food was terrible my friend is a vegetarian and they made her a small childs size pizza with no garni worth about £3 and the rest wasn't much better, it was totally embarrassing.
It is a very hit and miss kind of place and pot luck whether you can park also very varied folk go in there, we have had some good nights in there but have also walked out do to disgusting behaviour and swearing.

This was the third visit to Lady Lane Wharf by boat. The first time was a Saturday night about 5 years ago and was absolutely fantastic with very friendly folk, good inexpensive beer, cracking entertainment and what looked like very tasty and value for money food, although we did not eat on this occasion to be fair.
The second time was more of the first.
The last visit earlier this year was an afternoon session and the ales (all of them) were absolutely top notch with a good afternoon chatting and having a laugh with some of the moorers who were really friendly.
The "confusing" bit in the title refers to the fact that when we arrived, passing the "boaters welcome" sign, we were surprised to see no one else moored on the towpath. Great we thought, aren't we the lucky ones? Not really, one of the clubs moorers opposite decided to start playing some David Bowie (who I actually like) at full chat to past midnight.
The amusing part is that when we went to leave the next day I glanced across at the Bowie-boat only to see a sign on their roof stating "DONT SPOIL OUR VIEW", not really in keeping with the "boaters welcome "sign seen earlier.

We were a regular at this lovely pub. One of the problems we always had was trying to park. Full car park but no customers !!
The Wharf has changed the meals have gone up also the last couple of times we went in, there were men swearing when there was no need.
We over heard some other customers moaning about the menu prices also too much choice.
This could be a little gold mine with the right management.
Would I return ? Not until changes have been made.

I booked a table for 11 for a birthday meal gardens were lovely right on the canel . We all ordered our food we waited a long time best part of an hour didn't mind as thought all being done fresh but then we were told they had run out of steak. They must of known when we placed order they waited until they brought 2 steaks out before telling us. That person then ordered brazing steak which had peas with it and 2 other members of out party who had the same meal didn't get peas. All very mixed up . When I went to get a refund of the price difference the manager was quite sharp with me and said its only the difference and we could have it later . (Which I thought was extremely rude) . He did bring it over to my daughter and rounded the difference off to £10 . If only the gesture had been there in the beginning ,however the singer was good and we joined in and had a dance. On another note when I booked I was told there was a band on it was a one man band . We all had a good night apart from the mishaps Lynette
