Used to be a great little cafe with friendly staff and lots of cake and snack choices for kids.
Now it's young kids serving on weekends who clearly don't want to be there. The old proper coffee machines have gone and you're paying 3 quid for an automated button machine coffee similar to what you'd get out of a petrol station. Cake and sandwich counter has been replaced by a permanent ice-cream freezer which was useful on a November morning. Used to enjoy coming here on a morning and watching the bird feeders with a cake and coffee before a blast on the play area and nature walk. Bit naff really! Now we'll just walk through straight through to play area and keep my wallet in pocket. Owners need their heads knocking.

Absolutely shocking service. The food options are so limited, only toasties available. Went in with a friend who ordered a ham and cheese toastie. She paid and then the man on the till told me there isn’t any ham and does my friend still want it. I went to check for him (!) and she said that’s fine. I went back to the till and said ok I’ll have a cheese toastie then as you don’t have any ham. The lady in charge said I couldn’t have this as they only have one portion of everything available. There were no other toastie options so I said can I just have the sides it comes with (crisps/ salad). She said no as she ‘wouldn’t be able to work out how much to charge me’. Ridiculous. There were lots of fresh cakes in the fridge so I said I’ll have one of them instead. The lady said ‘they’re not ready to be sold yet so you can’t order one of them’. She instead tried to sell me the old dried up display cake that did not look appetising at all! So I sat with nothing to eat whilst my friend ate her cheese toastie. The staff were not apologetic or bothered in the slightest about customer service, we were really shocked! It’s not often I wrote a negative review but me and my friend both had babies and I had stopped for a well needed bite and drink whilst breastfeeding. What a shame as this place is in such an ideal location and we would have spent a few hours here eating lunch and cake if they had adequate food available!

good new set up, lovely staff, score brought down as pay by card only, BUT check out girl took cash as i had the right amount. policy is a bit crazy when people are sitting without masks on drinking and eating.

Visited the Parkridge Centre when I was attending an outside theatre show - will definitely go back as the staff were lovely and the coffee and cakes were fresh ... even at 7pm in the evening!

Visited many times with grandchildren. Today the staff went over and above to be kind. The cafe staff are absolutely lovely. Always friendly and great service.

The lovely lady who manages the cafe gives a fabulous service. Currently the toilets have to be closed due to COVID some members of the public think it’s ok to be abusive to the staff. It’s not ok the staff are complying with the rules. Whoever that person was who spat at the staff hang your head in shame. If you are in the park show your love an support at the cafe x

One of our “go to” places when we have the Grandkids. 3 hours free parking is a rarity these days & it’s very popular place.
The cafe itself is a WArwickshire Wildlife Trust property & has a good selection of hot drinks & meals with VEGAN options (even soya milk for your tea) .
Service is a little slow as they do the hot drinks there & then so if you’ve bought a kids toy you still have to queue with the others ordering drinks.
Still that’s a small gripe. The hot food we ordered came out smartly & we watched the birds on the feeders thru the large windows.
Very good place to go.

Had a quick walk through the park. Cafe was fine and staff were okay. Nothing wrong with the food, although we didn't get past paninis and tea cakes.

A lovely little area to have a coffee and a snack as you walk through this beautiful park rest there if you or your four legged friend wants a rest !!!

A bit of training, care, attention to detail and this place should thrive. Put a Costa here, for example although I’d prefer something independent. Everyone and everything unhappy or indifferent. Not busy, but many things could have been done. Some bird food in the feeders for a start!

Hi, thanks for taking the time to give feedback on your recent visit to the Parkridge Centre and I'm sorry to hear of your negative experience. We will look at this with the team at Parkridge and hopefully your next visit will be a better one. We do try to keep the feeders filled up, but there are some extremely determined squirrels who get through the bird food very quickly.
