Este parque como se conoce actualmente data de primeros del Siglo XX, aunque anteriormente fue una finca privada de varias familias. Destaca su estanque central, con diversos animales como patos, y habilitado para diversos deportes. En mi caso suelo salir a correr a menudo, aunque también merece la pena pasear. Se encuentra en Fallowfield, con buen acceso en bús.

Local ideal para uma boa caminhada e apreciar o enorme lago e todos os espaços verdes. O parque é enorme.

I have been going to park for many years, today I thought to review it. park is great for kids and adults too. There a lake and play area for kids. It is divided in 2 parts one is for events such as fair and other side is for kids and walk alongside lake.
Great experience.

Back again for another amazing day at the Manchester Day festival. The weather was intermittent between typical Manc showers with bouts of glorious sunshine.
Food vans in abundance with flavours from around the world and the music that was performed was just the same. Last years orchestra played 4 times by the lake, where each succeeding performance drew more in numbers.
Not an issue in sight, what a great day and an even better night with the orchestra and fireworks display.

Made a visit to the Platt Lane Park today. We are from
Wythenshawe and always taking the kids to the park there but felt like a change. Safe to say we won’t be going back, full of rubbish in small play area all bins overflowing rubbish everywhere. Bigger playground smashed glass and also full of rubbish. Children running riot all adults misreble sat on benches not supervising there own children. Went straight back to the beautiful Wythenshawe park where people actually like to enjoy the park and are happy 🤣👍🏻

We went as a group of 8-10 ppl. We were ambushed by a group of what seemed to be local lads/men ages around 16-40 ish. They tried to rob us of money, watches, anything that seemed to be of any value. We were chased through the park by these men with knives, it must have been a planned attack (we were not from the area) as the further we ran they were coming from bushes and corners. Definitely do not recommend this park to anyone and definitely not families with children.

Had a nice walk around the lake with our dog and she was pleased to see the ducks and swans. Sadly one end of the lake is full of litter. Public toilet. Playground for young children. Mainly clean. Friendly students on their lunchbreak.

Hi, not sure if it's locked at night, but I went for a run about 06:15 one weekday morning and it was open .
