Came fora drink with family and were offered the worst of welcomes. It was hardly busy on a Monday evening but the woman on duty at the bar pointed at the table by the door, when we asked for another away from the draught she simply shrugged dismissively despite there being a number of other tables free. Needless to say we left and won’t be going back. There are plenty of places to drink in Manchester where a smile of welcome and a comfortable spot aren’t much of an ask.

A group of us had been out for a couple of beers and wanted something different. This place certainly provides that and it is definitely worth a visit.
Well located just off Princess Street it is a classy place and has an awful lot going for us for it. If possible, I would advise booking as we called in on a Thursday evening and luckily managed to get a table upstairs. Here we were served by several people and all very professional, helpful and good fun.
We asked for advice on the kind of Wines we liked and we brought several excellent examples. All this in a cracking atmosphere and with good company so we really enjoyed ourselves.

Have visited a quite a few times so thought it was time for a review. Drinks are very nice and the food options are also good. Only point to make was that the toilets could do with some attention as they were not the most pleasant

Brilliant place - excellent service, awesome and unique wines. Third visit and now a must go place when in Manchester. Snacks are great too with some great cheeses.

Popped in for a drink after a meal
In Manchester, we hadn’t booked but were seated, our server seemed extremely happy to be there! We had never been here before, they have vending machine wines and a literal wall
Of wine too, was a bit overwhelming in a sense of how do we do this. We were given menus and table water so we just went off the menu. I ordered an orange wine and we ordered a beer too. Cannot fault the service. Seen a few people with the food and it looked amazing so we will definitely be back to try the food and maybe the vending machines

We popped into Salut one night without a reservation. The place was pulsating. They kindly found us a high top table. They feature a lovely selection of beer, cocktails & wine. Their wine selection is where they truly shine.
Our server was helpful, extremely pleasant and eager to ensure that the guest was satisfied. We enjoyed a couple drinks in their comfortable surroundings. We did not sample but I must admit, their cheese & charcuterie boards looked absolutely divine.
Salut is a pleasant pleasant boite for a drink or a plate of nibbles.

We have visited this wine bar many times before and always enjoyed it. We visited this time for lunch and had a sharing board of cheese and charcuterie. They have a wine preservation system so it is possible try different wines by the glass. We chose a bottle of wine from the extensive stock which is laid out on the shelves marked with a take out price and a drink in price.
Once again, we enjoyed our visit.

What a great concept.
The staff are knowledgeable and lovely. It was a welcoming space. So glad we stumbled across this and we will be back.
A great place to try our new wines especially very expensive ones as got can get a splash to try for a reasonable price.

Four of us called in here on a Friday night and had a wonderful time. Luckily we had reserved a table which proved to be a good idea as it gets very busy and no wonder.
They have some excellent Wines prices to suit all pockets and it has a lovely atmosphere. This place really is a great idea as you can buy Wines to Takeaway or drink the same Wines at a table where they provide you with tapwater which is a nice touch.
They also have cabinets where you Top up card with money and then tap to get a small measure of Wines. This is a great idea if you want to try some new things and then you can buy a bottle if they prove to your taste.
The service is exceptional. Friendly, funny and professional and this place is highly recommended.

Met up with friends for an afternoon of fine drinking.
This place is so good!!
Staff looked after us and explained how it all worked with the wine tasting card.
We tasted numerous wines from all over the world.
Munched on a couple of lovely cheese, meat platters recommended by the lovely young guy (red head) all perfect.
Absolutely loved our afternoon and left very merrily on our way to Foo Fighters.
Most definitely will be back.
