We just completed a tour of the Champagne region with Instant Tours and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The tour was perfectly organized and our guide, Melissa, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about champagne. We visited some of the most famous champagne houses, including Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot but more importantly, we visited some smaller, more artisanal producers. We learned about the history and production of champagne, and we tasted some of the most delicious champagnes I've ever had, including some that we cannot even get in the United States.
The tour was well-organized and efficient. Melissa was always waiting for us when we finished a tour and everything ran smoothly. She was always early to meet us and she was an excellent guide - she was knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly and grew up in the area which made the tour very enjoyable and informative.
We got to see the entire process from vineyards, to process, to aging, to tasting, in multiple different fashions, including the varying process from smaller houses to larger houses.
When we ran into a train delay on our way out of Champagne and Melissa took us to another cathedral to see to help spend some of our delayed time. I would highly recommend Instant Tours to anyone who wants to experience the best of the Champagne region.

We experienced two days of tours of the Champagne region from our hotel in Reims. The guide, Matthew, was absolutely wonderful. Although seemingly young, he has worked most of his life in the region, harvesting grapes and working at several of the big houses as a guide. As a result, he seemed to know everyone in the region. We received special attention at most of the houses. We visited Mumm, Moët et Chandon, Pommery, Tattinger, plus a beautiful small production house on the mountain.
Instants created our tour specially given we had already visited parts of the region.
The booking department was very easy to communicate with via email, and the Mercedes van was very comfortable.
Not inexpensive, I strongly recommend this company as a good value.

J'ai fait appel à Instants Tours pour l'organisation d'un séminaire de 15 directeurs.
L'hôtel, la qualité des activités touristiques proposées, l'organisation et le timing des visites, l'aide à la gestion du temps, ont été très appréciés.
Pas de mauvaise surprise. Tout était sous contrôle.

We stayed in Reims and wanted a one day tour of the champagne area. Melissa was our guide and was a great source of information. We went to a small producer first ( Lancelot Royer) and to be frank, it was the best experience as they let you see everything and you are guided by the producer, not just a “ front of house” person that the larger companies can provide.

My boyfriend and I booked two full-days of touring in October 2022 and had an excellent experience! We were picked up from our accommodations in Paris the morning of the first day for private transport to the Champagne region to meet the guide for our first day, Lucie. The company coordinated two nights of hotel accommodations in Reims at our request, and made a great recommendation (La Caserne Chanzy). We spent the first tour day exploring Épernay, Hautvillers, and the surrounding area. Ana was our guide for the second day exploring Reims. We really appreciated the thoughtful itineraries, which combined private tastings at boutique family producers in the morning, group tour tastings at the "big" houses in the afternoon, and time to explore unique features of the villages themselves, including two fantastic lunch spots. Both Lucie and Ana were incredibly knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our days with both of them! We learned so much about the region and champagne-making process and found many bottles to take home as souvenirs. This was our first time in the Champagne region and this private tour experience was the perfect introduction - we can't wait to come back!

We were a group of 6, we worked with Remi and his staff to plan an amazing, custom-built itinerary. We went to him with an idea, and they helped us fill out the tour with exact specifications that met and exceeded all of our dreams and expectations. The process was easy, and they were prompt at every turn. We had an amazing time with our guide, Melissa. She was very knowledgeable about champagne and the region. Our group loved her and had a great day getting to know her, she was an absolute delight to spend the day with. Recommend to anyone who wants a custom built tour at prices that are about the same as the pre-canned packages through other large impersonal sites - you can not go wrong. We did a tour of Reims Cathedral, Veuve Clicquot®, and 2 other smaller champagne houses, with a wonderful lunch at one of them. We got to see the beautiful champagne area as well. Looking forward to our next tour of the area with Instants

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful, informative two days booked with Instants. In a limited amount of time, our guide Lucie gave us a broad overview of champagne - both the history and the present day. We visited Veuve Cliquot as our representative large producer and then three smaller, boutique houses, where we had tours and tastings. Lucie was such great company, very friendly and such an expert in both champagne and in giving travelers the right amount of information. We would recommend this tour to anyone and look forward to coming back again for another excursion soon.

Scheduled 2 days of private tours. Melissa selected major houses plus small out-of-the-way places. She also found godd spots for photos as the buds were just breaking and the fields had a lot of activity.

Our tour experience was 2 days while we were staying in Reims. We felt we could see the larger champagne houses ourselves and asked Remi to prepare for us tours and tastings in the smaller champagne producers and also some boutique producers. Our wonderful and very knowledgeable guide/driver was Lucie. Each day we had 3 tastings and the ones in the middle came with a prepared lunch. On day 1 we started at Billecart & Salmon which is a small to medium producer. Our tour was led by a gentleman named Gerard. He was very knowledgeable and shared their history and production process with us. We then tasted 3 of their wines. They were all amazing and each had its own distinctive attributes. Next we moved on to Henri Giraud and again the tour was excellent following by an absolutely amazing lunch and tasting. Their chef is a former executive chef at a Michelin starred restaurant and is also a sommelier. His plates were all paired with one of their wines. Each plate and pairing was absolutely amazing and so flavorful. This was truly a great experience. Our final tasting on day 1 was at Bollinger, of course the preferred champagne of 007 James Bond. The tour was also wonderful followed by tasting 3 of their incredible champagnes. These 3 tastings were so amazing it’s hard to imagine what day 2 would be like.
Day 2 was in a different area and concentrated on the smaller and boutique champagne wineries. Our first stop was at J. Lassalle where we had a very nice tour then tasting of 3 of their wonderful champagnes. Next we moved on to La Maison Penet where our tasting included a wonderful lunch. We had 3 of their champagnes with our lunch. We even had a dessert spirit that is distilled from the 3rd pressing of the grapes that they refer to as “La Rubish” which sounds like the rubbish. It is distilled is a spirt called Ratafia and can be fortified to produce a “Marc de champagne”. This was similar to a port, at least to me. Anyway everything was excellent. Our final tasting was at Vilmart. After our tour we had a wonderful tasting of 3 of their champagnes.
This was the end of our amazing experience with Instant Champagne Tours. They really do provide excellent tours and they will customize it to your liking, as Remi did for us.

Nous sommes passés par Instants Exclusive Champagne Tours pour l'organisation d'une journée Kick-off dans le cadre du travail.
Tout s’est parfaitement déroulé, depuis la préparation de l'évènement en amont jusqu'à la réalisation le Jour J.
Que ce soit la première visite d'un domaine familial (cadre magnifique, accueil chaleureux, visite très intéressante et bonne dégustation) ou les moments passés chez Moët & Chandon (de la visite au succulent déjeuner dans l’orangerie privatisée), tout était très bien organisé et savamment dosé.
Nous remercions Rémi pour l’organisation et Astrid de nous avoir accueillis, accompagnés et informés tout au long du parcours ! Une équipe à l'écoute, sympathique et très professionnelle.
Vous pouvez leur confier les yeux fermés vos escapades en champagne !

Can not recommend Instants Exclusive Champagne Tours, Remi Boxho and his marvellous guide Lucie enough. We were there May 2019 and had a fabulous time. Everything was just as we had requested it and the arrangements were meticulous. Remi's email address is on their web site

We are 4 Australians visiting Reims 23 and 24 April this year. Wanting to visit cellars, taste great champayne

Yes. Really attentive and will also do their best to get you where you want to go and meet your requests.
We had a fabulous time and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

May I ask, how much was the shipping cost? I would like to bring some back when my husband and I visit, but am afraid the bottles may break.

Hi Shaleen,
The shipping cost for the USA in 2017 will be around 100€ for 6 bottles and 190€ for 12 bottles. Those prices are not fixed yet by the shipping company but it will be around those prices.

You can walk around the Cathedral on your own if you want to. We preferred to walk around with Rémi as he could provide information about different parts of the cathedral.
