‪Interessante ma poco piacevole‬

‪Un posto ricco di storia un luogo importante di Parigi. Si trova alla fine del viale dei Champ Elis, al centro di piazza dell’Etoils. Il monumento constructor per volontà di Napoleone Bonaparte per celebrare la vittoria nella battaglia di Austerlitz.‬

‪Worst Experience Ever‬

‪I booked a SURPRISE WEDDING PROPOSAL photshoot in February 2018, to be completed in August 2018 (6 months in advance). I traveled to Paris, France all the way from the United States just to propose in front of the Eiffel Tower and to have the moment photographed professionally.

I emailed my photographer (Elena Usacheva) two weeks before the shoot to iron out some details. I emailed her on Sunday August 5, and she said she would get back to me on August 6. After not hearing from her for more than a week, I contacted her on Monday August 13 to confirm that we were still on for Friday August 17. She said that her return from vacation was hectic which is why she did not get back to me the week prior, but that we were still good for Friday August 17.

At this point I have spoken to you 4 days before the shoot, and you will have been off of vacation for at least 4 days prior to the shoot.

On Friday August 17, our photo shoot was supposed to start at 7:45pm, and Elena Usacheva simply did not show up. I emailed her at 7:55 asking if she was running late, and did not receive a reply. Was finally able to call her at 8:15pm (30 minutes after the shoot was supposed to start and paying a huge international calling fee) and she sounded like she was sleeping and told me “ I’m sorry I just got back from vacation. I forgot about your photoshoot “. This is the same vacation that had been over for at least 4 days (if what she told me on Monday August 13 was true).

She offered to do the shoot the next day, but at that point the moment was ruined. My girlfriend and I were standing in the sun, wearing a suit and nice dress, sweating, and waiting for a photographer that “ forgot about our photoshoot”. I ended up proposing, and had to ask a stranger to take one photo with my iPhone 10.

Elena and her boss (Sophie) were apologetic, but nothing can get this moment back for my girlfriend and I.

They did provide a full refund, which ended up being $40 USD less than I paid in Feb 2018 (value of USD increased in relation to Euro). So even with a full refund, I essentially paid $40 USD to travel to Paris and have a professional photographer not show up to a shoot that was scheduled for 6 months because “ she forgot “.

I am not sure how the other photographers who work for Better Travel Photos are, but Elena Usacheva is the worst and I would avoid her at all costs.‬
