I'm sorry but it was a total disappointment.
If, like me, you're looking for good quality antiques or even just cheap vintage...don't bother.
Most shops are sadly closed and the village itself is pretty tired.

We used to enjoy the antique stores of the village St. Paul. It is not worth going there now. There are very few stores and of the ones that are there they are usually not open - even when the sign says they should be open. Generally stores are closed Tuesday and or Wednesday. We went Saturday afternoon and we went in 2 stores. As much as we loved it in the past, we won't go back to the area.

We stayed across the way and explored it. Super cute with lots of bistros and seating outside. Quiet and quaint contrary to the busy street three block away!

lindisimo lugar. una cosa rara con patios interiores muy bien ambientado. super tranquilo en un barrio que en general hay bastante gente- tiene bares. lindos lugares donde sentarse.

El Village Saint Paul es un espacio muy agradable, con varios patios que se comunican, rodedados de edificios; silencioso, con ambiente bohemio y artistico. Tiene algunos cafecitos; negocios de arte, todo muy cuidado. Un lindo paseo. Recomiendo recorrerlo de tarde / noche que es cuando hay mas ambiente. Por la mañana esta casi todo cerrado y solo es para caminar su interior .

We love antiquing across the world and while this wasn’t on our go to list of places in Paris, we had a bit extra time and stopped by.
There is nothing here. Zero. Zilch. Empty. The few stores were firmly closed and didn’t look like antique stores at that, or as if they’d been open recently.
There was ONE small store with lots of tiny antique/vintage curiosities that was of interest- EW Objets Anciens.

un'area di tranquillità tra il Marais e l'ile de Notre Dame. Un villaggio d'altri tempi con piccoli cortili e negozietti dove passare momenti di relax e perdersi (tanto è piccolo il villaggio) tra locali caratteristici.

This is a great concept that gets rave reviews in many Paris Guides. Unfortunately most of the shops are closed most days. We made two trip to the area while in Paris hoping to work our way through the purportedly unique shops. Neither time did we find more than 1 or 2 open. Sorry, we won't be back.
