The return journey from Paris to Hendaye by very bad train. Having the ticket of the three travelers paid in advance we were left in Bordeaux having to pay again the ticket to Hendaye the next day, (half the journey standing) payment of hotel, dinner, breakfast and food, without being able to make the claim by email and making it by registered mail without reply and has posed a month from the claim (attaching all invoices)

Shops obviously beautiful but inexperienced young staff ineffective with no interest for customers any consideration despite the prices, I have never been received worse in a shop

A Customer Experience Unworthy of a Luxury Brand
The customer should be king, but today Hermès is “playing with its customers, its ‘subjects,’ relying solely on its ‘renown.’”
Since March 2024, after numerous visits to Hermès Maroquinerie and diligently following the online registration process in the hope of acquiring an iconic bag—both professionally (to represent French craftsmanship and expertise during my international travels) and personally for my 40th birthday and upcoming wedding—I feel compelled to express my profound disappointment with an utterly frustrating, outdated, and unsuitable customer experience that tarnishes the image of a luxury brand.
1. An Opaque and Unfair Process:
The online registration system, supposedly designed to organize requests, lacks transparency and seems arbitrary. No clear explanation is provided regarding how customers are selected, while some seem to secure appointments outside the online process.
2. A Disappointing and Unprofessional Welcome:
Despite providing precise details about the desired model, sales associates insist on showcasing collections that have no relevance to the request. Worse still, on Saturday morning, as soon as the store opened, it was “announced that no iconic bags were available.” A manager publicly explained this without taking the time to discuss the matter privately, even as I expressed numerous dissatisfactions.
3. Blatant Disregard for Customers:
Hermès seems to exploit its reputation to create artificial scarcity, enabling questionable practices that lack coherence and fairness. This treatment leaves the impression that only a select group of “privileged clients” matters, to the detriment of others.
Amid growing competition, particularly from Chinese luxury brands, Hermès risks losing many customers who are fed up with such disdain, lack of customer focus, and disregard for expectations, paired with disastrous customer relationship management. A luxury brand should above all value, listen to, and respect its clientele—something clearly lacking here! Hermès is reversing roles: the customer should be king, yet they are treating them as mere “subjects” under the banner of renown. What a lack of consideration!

Extremely long waiting time, unfriendly sales assistant, lots of people inside, bad experience, this is the last time I'll go to Hermes in Paris, maybe in another big city where it will be less crowded.

On a Monday morning, the hostesses are already overwhelmed, the wait for the squares is endless. The smiling welcome is useless if all the hostesses stay at the reception. 45 minutes to manage to look at what we are looking for, if by chance they have the items hoped for. No.

I just got out of the Hermes store on George V Avenue.
Very dissatisfied and surprised with the customer service , as soon as I arrive at the reception I ask the Hostess if I can charge my phone because I have to choose a gift with a friend:
She answers me in the affirmative by directing me upstairs.
Once upstairs so I ask the Vigil where I can charge my phone, he tells me a place, and another sales hostess tells him it is not allowed, not even looking at me.
So I go back down to the reception hotel which very politely asks me, I stress, to charge my phone Outside and then come back.
Where am I actually? Deplorable customer service.

Horrible!!!! Avoid and find a smaller store. Horrible SAs and wont even offer water. This Hermes game is getting a bit too much

Extra-thin gold plated bracelet in sand color enamel. the enamel jumped on a small part just 2 months later. Customer service response: "the enamel is very fragile and should not be worn all the time". Conclusion: buy counterfeits instead or leave it in the trunk. Very disappointed with the response provided for a purchase at 320€.

Absolutely terrible service. I asked a sales associate if she worked there because I had been browsing and no one offered to help me (apparently you need to check in and they put you on a wait list, but I did not know this) her response to me was “do I look like I work here” in the rudest way possible then walked away. At first I wondered if she was a customer and I had offended her. Then I realized she did work there when I saw her helping someone else. When I initially approached to ask she was standing by herself and not helping anyone else, so it wasn’t like I was interrupting. I had intended on purchasing a few pairs of shoes and a handbag but decided that I’d rather spend my money elsewhere. Goyard and LV were very kind and I ended up finding some amazing things at those stores.

After 1 month of trying, I got an appointment for the leather department. I was asked what type of bag I am there to buy. I told her my preferences. She asked me many questions regarding the bag: leather, hardware etc.
She told me to wait and that it will take some time to bring out the options. After 5 minutes, she came back and said bluntly: We. Have. No. Bags!
I told her I have a purchase history: to check with my maiden name because I just got married and changed my name. She kept saying “we have no bags “
I work in fashion, and I am a luxury shopper. Never in my entire life was I made to feel so small.
Absolutely worst customer service. Deserves 0 stars. Not 1.

Hi Pilar, we didn't need an appointment, we just walked in. I bought a scarf and scarf ring. We were treated extremely well and I was made to feel very special indeed. I have nothing but praise for the company and its staff
