‪هذه الدائرة في باريس هي المكان المفضل لدي - الحي اللاتيني. إنه جزء رائع مع شوارع متعرجة صغيرة مليئة بالحياة في مئات المقاهي والمطاعم. أقام العديد من الشعراء والكتاب والفنانين المشهورين في هذا المجال. هذا الجزء من المدينة هو المكان الذي يوجد فيه ضريح البانتيون وكذلك السوربون المشهور عالمياً.‬

‪Detto che il 5th Arrondissement è il più antico, risalendo la sua fondazione in epoca romana, e detto che si trova sulla Rive Gauche, si identifica spesso il 5th Arrondissement con il Quartiere Latino, una espressione geografica che, in effetti, ha poco senso, considerando che si può quasi considerare una sensazione dello spirito, legata a certi miti contestatari giovanili degli anni sessanti.

Si trovano comunque autentici piccoli gioielli: l’arena e le terme di Lutezia (ci arrivano direttamente dall’epoca romana, considerando che Lutezia era il vecchio nome di Parigi), alcune chiese (anche se non di primissima importanza), la
Sorbona e molte scuole di specializzazione.

Non ha certo il fascino di altri quartieri parigini, ma la vicinanza con il 4th, dove tra le altre cose si trova Notre Dame, ne consigliano una visita, anche se veloce.‬

‪Our friend lives here so we come and visit and meanwhile take a walk around, sit in a cafe for a drink. The area is full of schools and historic monuments and very pleasant and cool squares for cafe sitting. A must.‬

‪Quartier historique et universitaire‬

‪Le 5ème arrondissement est l'un des plus prestigieux de la ville avec la Sorbonne, le Pantheon, le Jardin des Plantes et l'église St-Etienne-du-Mont. Un quartier riche en histoire mais également très animé avec de nombreuses adresses gastronomiques. La rue Mouffetard et la place Monge, avec son marché, sont prisés pour leurs étals et leurs épiceries de produits du monde entier intéressants et variés. Pour les amateurs de thés d'exception, la Maison des trois thés est une institution.

Un quartier très visité par les touristes.‬

‪Пятый округ - самый старый район Парижа. Включает большую часть Латинского квартала, древнего города, построенного римлянами. Центр его был в районе холма, носящего имя Святой Женевьевы. О том времени напоминают арены Лютеции, римские термы в нескольких местах района, остатки древних крепостных стен. Округ - университетский городок со многими школами и знаменитой Сорбонной. Здесь начинается великолепный бульвар Сен-Жермен. В ходе прогулок по району особый интерес вызвали Пантеон, Национальный музей естественной истории с великолепным Садом растений, музей Клюни. С большим почтением посетили несколько религиозных храмов.‬

‪Must visit area‬

‪The 5th Arrondissement, in the central area of paris is a very interesting and nice part of the city. We have been here several times and love walking around the narrow streets discovering interesting finds. One of the most popular sights is the Pantheon, while the area is known for its universities, schools, and the jewel in the crown, the Quartier Latin, the multicultural district full of cafes and restaurants.‬

‪La París de los que hablaban latín‬

‪La Sorbona, el Panteón, el zoo, el Barrio Latino y la ribera sobre el Sena frente a la Isla de La Ciudad. Un distrito muy pintoresco a unos pasos de Notre Dame (Distrito IV), cruzando el Sena hacia el sur. La zona de los que hablaban latín. Donde se desarrolló la escuela de medicina y donde se encuentra la Universidad de La Sorbona: de las más prestigiosas del mundo. Dentro del Barrio Latino además es una zona donde puedes encontrar lugares para comer, muchas tiendas de souvenirs y un hormiguero turístico. Pintoresco y cálido, céntrico, con calles angostas y mucho para ver. Activo principalmente por la tardecita y noche porque hay gran cantidad de bares y restaurantes accesibles. Una tarde necesaria que estando en la ciudad, recomiendo no dejar pasar.‬

‪A lot of walking‬

‪We visited the 5th Arr, during the peak of the train strike as a result it involved a lot of walking, however its worth it, as it is an area worth the visitors attention.

We love all things from ancient Rome, the Arenes Lutece, piqued our interest, we had our baguette lunch sitting in the heart of the amphitheatre, however dont expect the Roman Forum.

Jardin des Plantes - it being winter, not at its most lush, but to make up for it they had illuminated sculptures similar to the ones you expect in Hoi An, Vietnam. Wow - a lovely walk in the sun via the turtles, hermit crabs, coral reefs. We popped out on the far side of the Jardin and came across one of the Wallace fountains - in fact the only one remaining of the wall anchored model. The little finds truly enchant us.

All in all this is a nice area, however, it feels like you are doing a lot a walking to get anywhere, and its a little on the hilly side.

Things to do :
Rue du chat qui Peche, narrowest street in Paris.
Square des arènes de Lutèce et square Capitan, awesome square with a grand stair case.
Medieval Garden of the Cluny Museum, another secret garden, located behind the museum and its free.
Salvador Dali Sundial, we would not have found it without google.
Square Rene Viviani, chrissie market during our visit, also home to the oldest tree in Paris
Saint Etienne du Mont, 15th century church
Tino Rossi Garden, sculpture park that runs parallel with the Seine‬

‪Latin quarter arrondissement‬

‪This Paris arrondissement is where's my favorite part of it - the Latin quarter. It's a boheme part with tiny winding streets packed with laid back life in hundreds of cafes and restaurants. Many famous poets, writers and artists resided in this area.
This part of the city is also where's the Pantheon mausoleum as well the world famous Sorbonne.‬
