Sembrava proprio un palazzo reale ed invece solo arrivati davanti scopri che è un hotel! Bellissimo e con i giardini ben curati si trova proprio nel via che conduce a Varsailles. Ampio parcheggio per i clienti davanti.

Bâtiment imposant composé de 2 ailes dont la construction n'est pas de la même époque. J'ignore s'il peut être visité de l'intérieur car il est tout de même encore en activité.

Stopped here on the way back from visiting the Chateau, grand building with a good information sign, we didn't try to enter. There is also a war memorial and a floral clock on the way back to the station.

El Hotel de Ville es el "Ayuntamiento de Versalles"..... se ubica en la gran Avenue de Paris..... antiguamente fue el "palacete de Conti", residencia de María Ana de Borbón, princesa de Conti, hija natural de Luis XIV.
Después de numerosas obras de ampliación, la ciudad adquirió el edificio en el año 1859..... fue inaugurado como Ayuntamiento en Noviembre de 1900..... es un monumento histórico de Versalles.
De seguro lo verás de camino al Palacio !!!

per essere un municipio lascia a bocca aperta: lo abbiamo visto solamente dall'esterno ma è talmente imponente e ben conservato, così come il suo giardino nel quale campeggia un enorme orologio fiorito.

ヴェルサイユ宮殿を見に行く際に、宮殿のすぐ手前で見つけた綺麗な建物が、ヴェルサイユの市庁舎でした。営業時間中ではなかったようですが、すぐ前に、小さいスケートリンクが設置されていました。建物の前には、クリスマスツリーが飾られていました。期間限定かと思いますが、プレイモービルの展示をしていたようでした。

If you are entering Palace of Versailles the traditional way via the RER station one can not help but notice the Hotel de Ville on Avenue General de Gaulle. The architecture is great and there is a floral clock and a monument to the dead. It is a great photo opportunity! Throughout France it is a municipal building and not to be confused with a hotel where you can stay.

Impossible de louper l’Hotel de Ville de Versailles. Celui-ci a été inauguré sous sa forme actuelle en 1900 et donne sur l’avenue de Paris et donc le Château.
Il ne détonne pas avec le Château, dans le même esprit architectural 👌

すぐ近くにヴェルサイユ宮殿があるので見逃してしまいがちですが、ヴェルサイユの市庁舎は、いかにもフランスらしい美しい建物です。17世紀に建てられた城館を1900年に建て変えたものなので、それほど古いものではないのですが、それでも一見の価値はあると思います。

Très bel endroit ... on aimerait presque habiter Versailles rien que pour s'y marier ! Superbe architecture. Dommage que la caserne de pompiers soit accolée.

I can see you have noticed Daubos and Gaulupeau pastry shops 😋! The food market you are talking about is called Le Marché Notre Dame, a very good one indeed. The outside is lovely and the inside is fresh, a very nice place ! oClosed on mondays only. Gaulupeau is on Rue de la Paroisse, where you have nice shops also, like Gibert bookshop, Petit Bateau, Sephora of course, luxuous jewelleries...

My friends want to experience some French countryside. Should they do this in day trips from Paris or is there a good place to overnight in the "countryside"? Experience local people, culture, etc.
