‪François كانت رائعة! إلى مونت سانت ميشيل, سانت مالو, الأمريكي شواطئ Normandy (يومين). معرفته مدهش، و كان يعرف بالضبط عندما بالذهاب حيثما لتجنب الكثير من الزحام. على سبيل المثال، كان يعرف لنا إلى المقبرة الأمريكية في مراسم وضع اكاليل الزهور جدا. كما سائق ممتاز - - لم تكن تخاف! ولا شك أن نعود معه آخر يومين لا تستمع إلى نفس المعلومات.‬

‪An amazing day. Francois is very knowledgeable and courteous. He took us through the American sector. I learned quite a bit. Overall a moving experience.‬

‪Merita ben una visita nei luoghi della grande battaglia tra gli alleati e il nemico ... spiagge lunghe 80 km e si possono vedere ancora pezzi di cemento , case matte e alcuni cimeli lasciati da entrambi .... toccante ‬

‪We spent three days with Francois and had a great experience with him. He is very knowledgeable and fun, and accommodated our wishes as part of his plan every day. His recommendations were spot-on - he is really terrific.‬

‪Fantastic Private Tour‬

‪We were set up with Francois by my travel agent. To quote her "Francois is Normandy!" My Father was a D-Day veteran who landed on Utah Beach, so this particular full day tour focused on the Utah Beach area at my request.

Staying in Paris, we took the train to Normandy where we were met at the train station by Francois where our tour promptly started. Francois provided fresh croissants and bottled water as he drove us to the first site Sainte-Mere-Eglise to visit the church, then it was on to Utah Beach and museum, followed by Pointe Du Hoc, Ohama Beach and the American Cemetery. We also enjoyed a nice lunch together and even drove by a German cemetery.

His knowledge is quite impressive. What I liked most about Francois' tour was that he was very to the point and doesn't ramble on like many other tour guides. He took us to what he thought were the most important places with the most important information in the short time we had with him.

I highly recommend Francois for any European battlefield tour.‬

‪to see first hand the terrain we thought we saw in Saving Private Ryan etc is blown away - the Rangers who scaled those walls to reach German positions were brave, strong and determined- those odds they were up against were ridiculous but they did it- God Bless their souls- RIP‬

‪Spent a week with Francois as our guide for a group of 16. He could not have been more informative and insightful. Would recommend him for a one day visit to the WW II sites or an extended visit we had throughout Normandy. The Best !‬

‪Fascinating day with Francois‬

‪We had a full day tour with Francois and he managed to pack so much information into the many sites we visited. We would highly recommend Francois as he will customize the sites you are interested in and add some of the locally known locations. His knowledge of the area is immense and his family connection to the Normandy area is unique. This was easily the best tour we have ever experienced. It is helpful to know the history and to know what you are looking at. He will make the area come alive.‬

‪I could visualise the sea of boats coming across the channel, from historical photos there are no changes to the whole area. Poignant.‬

‪D-Day Tour‬

‪Interesting tour, but you needed to know a fair bit of D-Day history beforehand. We would liked to have seen more of some and less of other parts of the tour. A little rushed or maybe we didn't get lucky with the guide. ‬

‪Excellent one day tour with Guillaume at Normandy DDay Tours. Excellent guide, great sense of humor, spent 10 years in (French) military. We had 6 people - 2 of whom had a broad base of knowledge of D-Day and Guillaume was excellent! Would definitely go with him again!‬
