We were in Avignon for five days and we did three tours with ProVans - the yellow (van Gogh and Roman remains), orange (Luberon Villages) and pink (Camargue) tours.
All tours were with Nicholas who is very charming with excellent English. The tours run smoothly and to time with prompt pick up from, and on time return to, the tourist office in Avignon. We did not have a car and did not want the hassle of driving and parking so these tours were a great alternative to that. In three days we saw all that we were wanting to see in the area without having to find and use public transport that would have been impossible particularly for seeing the Luberon villages. We saw and did so much. I loved the Van Gogh trail of the yellow tour, the Luberon villages were fantastic and I was delighted to see the flamingos of the Camargue. If we had visited a couple of weeks later when the lavender was flowering I would have been happy to do the purple tour as well. The tours are well sized with a max of 8 people. Highly recommended.

We saw so many flamingos, bulls and horses, all of them from close and for enough time to enjoy them and to take photos. Then we visited Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer with a lunch break and finally Aigues-Mortes where we could go up to the tower and walk around on the wall to take photos of the salt pond and the village.

We highly recommend Nicolas as this was an exceptional tour that more than met our expectations .
Communication - fabulous and easy way to find meeting point .
Transport - 5 star for comfort and travelling .
Villages - lovely selection we went to and would highly recommend the orange tour
Size - group size was 8 and we had a great time and very comfortable with air in van .
We loved this trip ! Nicolas is a gentle kind and caring man that shared with us his favourite places . He gave us recommendations to see and do in each area with a map and careful attention to each of our needs .
We saw some amazing sights , ate well and loved the lavender gelato !
We mention that he also went out of his way to ensure everyone was as close as possible to their destination on return .
We would book with Provans again and recommend this company for any of your needs for tours .

I wanted to see some towns in the Luberon region and did not want to rent a car so decide to sign up with Provan Tours. It's a husband and wife team that leads van tours. Our trip was lead by Nico. He was friendly, spoke perfectly fine English (teasing him here), knowledgeable. The mix of towns were visited were great, time spent in each was just right. We had a good time.
To avoid driving, or using buses, this was a great option for us. I use Nico's company again to see other sites if we ever went back to the area. Max van was 8 people.

We could never have seen as much on our own! Van Gogh’s asylum with copies of his paintings, Les Baux de Provence (a hill top village) Arles with its colosseum and we ended with the Pont du Gard aqueduct bridge. Nicholas had a wealth of information and historical facts and is a very good driver. He was also very patient as my husband and I got lost near the museum of the Pony du Gard and also underestimated the time needed to get back to the van on time. He and our fellow travelers were very understanding and we appreciated everyone’s tolerance. Nicholas was great with communication and the price was very fair. Thanks Nicholas for a great day!

Many thanks to Veronica for a day long tour of the Luberon villages that was the highlight of our two week stay in France. Our group of eight enjoyed all the history and information of the area that Veronica shared. She was attentive to our needs and very friendly. The villages were all special in their own way and it would be hard to decide which was the best. The tour was well paced with plenty of time at each stop. A bonus was Veronica’s lunch recommendation in Gordes which turned out to be the best food of our trip. I highly recommend the Orange Tour by ProVans for anyone visiting the area.

My sister and I went on this day trip with 6 others and had Nicolas as our guide. He was fantastic! He was very personable and knowledgeable about the all of the towns we visited. At each stop he gave us a map of the town with a suggested route covering the highlights. We had time to grab a cafe, shop, or eat lunch. This was a lovely way to explore the hilltop villages and I would highly recommend any tour that ProVans offers. Thank you for a great day exploring the Luberon Nicolas!

We want to thank Veronica for a fabulous afternoon in the beautiful region of Provence! She was prompt, full of regional information and had a spotlessly clean vehicle. She personalized our experience to maximize our time. The amazing views of Pont du Gard will not be forgotten. We enjoyed a stroll through the lovely village of Uzes and saw The Duke's Chateau. She was able to help facilitate shopping as well! We had a wonderful 4 hours together! Highly, Highly Recommend!

Veronica took us on a special trip to a unique destination of family significance. It was a perfect day. She is knowledgeable, full of energy, and extremely friendly. A wonderful guide in all respects, and much like meeting a new friend!

I’m so glad I took this tour. I booked very late the night before . Great communication.As soon as I met Veronica with her warm welcome , I knew I would have a good day . She is very knowledgeable not only about the tour we were on but was able to answer questions in general. A very kind and happy person . We had a fun day out. I love the small group as it’s so personal & I met wonderful people. Veronica was flexible to make sure our group got to do everything we wanted. I highly recommend Provans !
